you know it's going to be a bad day when you wake up in nicotine withdrawal & try to call your dr, but the cheap phone doesn't work so you have to take it to the phone store to be repaired or replaced, only to discover that the phone store is closed, so you decide to go on to school & tough it out & two blocks away, a little white-haired old lady runs you over on your motorcycle...i did ask the paramedics to just take me back home so i could start my day over...they refused & i spent 2 weeks in the hospital, 2 months in a wheelchair & 2 years rehabbing....it's all the paramedics' fault!!

It's going to be a bad day when you wake up to a phone call at 6:30 AM on your day off and the person asks to speak to someone that you don't know. You hang up and they call back three times to ask you if you're sure. You apply very direct and nasty comments about how fucked in the head this person is because they keep calling back and then you find out later that it was your boss' teen kid that just pressed redial on the phone and didn't realize that their dad had called you after they went to bed. And because you were in the military you couldn't be fired or quit. Yeah that day sucked.
