I'm sure the op has moved on already. But if he wasn't just trying to seem oh so mature and was actually quoting a professional's diagnosis when he said she has the maturity level of someone much younger, then I will say that it was immoral of him to get involved with someone who is incapable of giving informed consent. For the same reason that it is immoral to get involved with someone physically underage, it is immoral to do so with someone mentally or emotionally underage.

Beyond that, if some dude stripped his gf while I was around, I would call the cops on him and her for indecent exposure. I don't want to look at some other woman's bits while I'm going about my business. Naked woman in the grocery store lot? Oh Mr Police Officer, please come here.

You're right - it IS difficult to answer without specifics.

I would take her aside and explain that it's only fair, since she violated your trust so grievously, that she endure something equally grievous - she must go passed one of her hard-limits as punishment.

Now, as for her "psychosis", contact me privately - there are ways she can be treated, even by you, with a little coaching.  Contact me privately, and I'll give you a wealth of information.

This is the worst advice I think I have ever seen on collarme and perhaps the most terrifying.  Taking someone who has some sort of mental issues and as "punishment" violating a hard limit is (insert whatever mod approved insult you can think of) and is just fucking WRONG!

Agreed, Michael. Fortunately, the thread is 4 mos old and the OP has probably resolved the issue by now.

Read some of his other suggestions Michael, they are all a tad out there

Hard Limits are HARD LIMITS for a reason, total no go area!!!!

greeneyedreamer -> RE: Appropriate Punishment (11/14/2008 9:18:44 PM)

hmmm. without saying much more, Therapy is your only real means to handle this. Psychosis is nothing to sneeze at. You are a good person to stay and help her deal with things. If she hurt you badly, remember, she has an illness.

Hope things work out... hugs,
Dreamer
