Ok its exactly what I thought it was. Iain, I'm gonna stick my nose into something thats none of my business here... Thats the operative phrase - its none of my business. [:D] Its none of anyones business! I dont know you so I dont dislike you and hold you no malice so take this in the spirit its intended - advice from a man who has been around the block a few time so to speak and who usually has "port calls" end favorably enough that I can make repeat visits to practically any previous port of call.
What I have been seeing / hearing through the grapevine is a cross between a badly written soap opera, a three ring circus, and a royal hungarian clusterfuck. My advice would be to THINK long and hard before releasing the next chapter in this saga. Think of it in terms of "risk benefit analysis" and ask yourself "Before I push this button is this going to make it better or worse?" This thread is a classic example - Is this a real estate web site? Do you see any other "I need housing" threads on here? No, so the thread is not likely to generate you a lead on accomadations it is simply a way of getting the message out of "Guess what the latest chapter in the drama is..." and broadcasting shit that is NOT our business... Likewise, is this a site for insurance professionals and civil lawyers? No, so your legal questions about a certain incident are not likely to be handled properly and all you will get is "opinions" , which are like assholes - they all stink, are full of shit, and everyone has one. So that thread did little except say to a crowd who didnt need to know - guess whos personal property I had a boo boo with ? Again, none of our business...
If it were me, with my cock caught in this particular ringer, I would IMMEDIATELY stamp the entire matter "Top Secret - For Originating Unit Only". I would then go through a list of the recent threads I started and I would contact the ever helpful Mod 11 to explain that I must have been suffering from some type of Floridian mosquito borne illness that caused a high fever and altered my mental state and judgement and I would ask her to delete the threads that essentially cover "Guess who I made out with under the bleachers" , "How do I know if a girl likes me" , "Guess whos car I wrecked" , "Would you be pissed if I wrecked your car" . "Im being picked on by the mean girl", and "Help I need a place to stay"....
You aint making it better and ya aint helping yerself bro... Honestly, if anyone from this board came to Houston for two weeks, or if I went to them, nobody would even know it happened....
