girl4you2 -> how to find answers & communicate (11/14/2005 1:19:27 PM)

i understand that the boards are separate entities, but with such, how can communication take place so that each person may learn from others? if a submissive has a question for a Master, but the "Ask a Master" boards are espoused to be only for Masters, what can the rest of us do to find answers? is this forum just a sounding board for those sharing the same "role" or for gaining a broader depth? these may seem inconsequential, but there have been several suggestions that the boards are segregated for a reason and perhaps ought to remain so. thus, many questions about communication. thank you all and i wish you well.

Everyone can post anywhere they want.

The separation is more for simplicities sake. Rather than having ALL topics go through ONE board, we have different boards. So, if people want to keep to a single board of similar topics, they can do so and so we don't have an insane amount of disparate topics in one large blob.

The forum titles are so people can be a bit more focused in what they ask and the audience they are going for. But you should never feel limited about where you can post.

i find the different areas helpful, makes looking for topics i might be interested in easier to find.

Exactly. The seperations are just for 'compartmentalizing" ( gads, I spelled that wayy wrong". You have a certain question, and you think only a certain group can answer, you post in that section. You will find though, that EVERYONE takes a look at all the forums.

Theoretically, any one can post a question but technically only Masters/Male Dominants should reply.

view point that only Masters respond in this group ask a Masters

it seems all are not in agreement with the anyone everywhere idea, which is fine with me (and i apologize for the edited quotes).

are we allowed to ask on any board just not respond, or are we supposed to only ask and reply on the segregated boards?

There are no restrictions. Anyone can post/reply in any of the forums.

thank you, i see there are no formal restrictions, but what of unspoken ones that slip into posts now and again that some "types" aren't welcomed on other boards?

As long as everyone knows that they can access any of the boards regardless of the topic title....there will be communication and learning amongst the members.

What of them? People will love to tell you what you should and shouldn't do. People love to meddle. People love to try and manipulate you. People love to tell you what's right and what isn't.

Archer -> RE: how to find answers & communicate (11/14/2005 1:53:57 PM)

The seerations are much more a matter of who you are wanting the perspective from than any regulation as to who can answer what or post what.

If you are asking a question looking for submissive oriented answers then you would post there if you are looking for answers from a Master's perspective then post there.

Just gives a starting point for the post where it goes from there depends on too many factors, LOL
