i read once about a guy into self-bondage who put on nipple clamps and then handcuffed himself having frozen the key in the middle of a large block of ice (froze half the ice first, then put the key in and froze the rest of the ice over it). he just had to wait for the ice to melt. haven't tried this myself, but thought it was a neat idea.
here's what not to do: when i was in college i cuffed myself to a disabled-access bar in the shower, naked of course; when i'd finished enjoying my bondage i saw to my horror that the key had fallen and was teetering on the edge of the drain. i got it out of the drain very, very, very, very carefully with my toes. plan ahead for that key! as difficult as it may be to imagine a worse situation than having to get extracted naked from being self-handcuffed in a college shower, there are worse situations you could get into with self-bondage.
