At the highest, it was $4.  Today it was $3.57.

That's what the quick trip to the burbs, or better yet across the border to visit the Hoosiers is for.  Get your smokes, gas, and fireworks all in one stop [;)] and much cheeper than you will find in Cook County and almost a couple gallons in savings over what you are gonna pay in Chicago proper.

that would depend on where in Chicago you could find that price - most places i've seen still have it above $4.10. it would have to be an obscure and remote part of the city for it to be $3.87.

getting gas and smokes from Hossier is one thing however IL state troopers love busting IL drivers with illegal fireworks at the border.

Ok, oil prices are up to $115-$117 per barrel because of "Hurricane Gustov."
You can almost "feel" the speculators "hoping and praying" that something goes wrong! lol
