I've been here about 2 months less than you and have made friends, one of whom started a lovely thread for my birthday and another who sent a present. Pretty mean, huh?

Since you obviously just started posting in the forums, I will give you some advice. Don't whine when you think you aren't getting enough attention, put something in your profile other than the list to the left, take the time to read a bit before you spout off, and treat the members here the way you would like to be treated.

Status: offline 		I also have to say, this is the first site I have been on where I did not get bashed for not having a photo in my profile. Although it is not really my fault. Every one I have tried to upload has been denied. Oh well, I suppose the imagination will just have to suffice for those I dont respond to.

I read these boards for quite some time before making the decision to join. Once I did, I messaged a few people with simple questions and got very nice and even lengthy answers. I actually have found that most people are very helpful.

Thanks to all who have been nice to me, since according to the OP it must not be the norm.

But that doesn't mean we are mean all the time. Every day in real life is a challenge for me not to get mean. I never thought a forum such as this would be any different.

In fact of all this site offers I like the forum the best. People are intelligent here, although some are not in complete control. Meannes is in the eye of the beholder. I have apologized both her and in real life. It happens. Might be rare but it does happen. But if you are mean to me, I can tear you to shreds lit,,,,,that is not the right word. If I said literally that is a threat. Let's say verbally in writing. Best I can describe it right now.

I can be mean, but really I don't want to. The idea of an argument is to convince the other perzson of your point of view, not to piss them off. I try, but sometimes I come off wrong, but my opinions are very strong and very radical by normal standards.

I really do try not to be mean. It accomplishes nothing. But one Man's mean is another Man's normal. I would suggest that you think about what your criteria are for considering something mean.
