Are there any natural supplements you can take to imporve eyesight ? Now let's get straight on what I am talking about, I do not mean visual accuity. My vision is corrected to near 20/20, that is not the problem. The problem is that for the second time in a few years I am hurting. I tripped over something on the porch and fell off the porch. Work is going to be alot of fun today, and probably for the next week. My knee is in bad shape, and I think I recracked a rib falling across the grill. This because I can't see when it is dark. But I also can't see when it is too bright. I don't like a day that is too sunny. I also don't like looking at white walls. This is a whole different story than accuity. It is a light/dark thing. I know I was in here bitching about eyestrain looking at the PC monitor, especially in the morning, but part of that is attributable to my monitor. I am going to get a new one shortly. This one lacks red, not completely but the color balance is off. But that is not the point now. It is the bright to dark transistion that screws me up. And the opposite. I know enough to know that it is very unlikely that a doctor would be able to help me with this problem. They way it is progressing it is a deficiency of some sort. I know that pilots in the RAF ate billberries. Purported to help their eyesight, but we can never know. Reason ? To really know, half of the pilots would have to be a control group and be given placebo billberries. Then we could analyse how many of each group died in combat. There's something that ain't too likely. I have looked around, it seems every site has some miracle drug to sell. I do not want a drug. I want something natural that will give my body what it lacks. I don't care if it is a bit hard to get, I will give it a try unless it is really gross. I mean if someone tells me to eat bugs, BZZZZT, next answer. Like in HK's "Draw the line" thread, there are just some things that won't go down. That was about eel juice. Like an eel soda or something. Now I could probably be persuaded to eat some nice fried eel on a plate. Not that I have, but I don't think your going to get me to drink an eel soda. There is probably a name for this condition. Actual accuity is fine, well usually. Which I might as well mention. I have two pairs of glasses. One is for the computer, the other is for outside. Like driving or anything like that. With them I can barely see the spedometer. The weaker glasses I wear when on my computer are very old. I intend to replace them soon. So I got poor depth of focus. And the same applies to the light level. I can deal with the depth of focus, but the light and dark thing. Is there anything that can help with that which is not from Dow chemical or a petroleum distillate ? I mean something natural. Any ideas ? T
