I have a friend who is a Dom he is not a switch just a dom. he has a profile i helped him write. he says he is seeings sub/slave women and what he is looking for in a sub/slave. The bottom of his profile says in cap letters NO MEN but he still get contacted by sub men. Can anyone tell me why?

Because people don't/can't/won't read a profile in its entirety before sending pm's.

Exactly what Katy said. Some people spam other people, some just don't read profiles and simply look at the pic. Either way, it all adds up to the same thing: Lots of unwanted mail. He'll get used to it after a while.

I've got a suggestion...

Step 1: Go to "Mail"
Step 2: Go to "Mail Controls" (Bright red, can't miss it)
Step 3: Click the 4th box down (or 5th if we're being real picky)

This should reroute all emails from men into the "bulk mail" folder. And he'll never have to be bothered with it again.

Despite the step-by-step instructions I wasn't being cheeky.... honest. [;)]

Hmm I understand the humor in your statement but personally find it distasteful. It just pushed a button. Sub males don't get much respect as it is, when they should be cherished and all that great stuff that we talk about female submissives.

you are absolutely right that often male submissives as a whole do not get seem to get much respect from the lifestyle community in comparison to the female submissive...... The fact of the matter there is alot of gender sterotypes on both sides of the coin. Are these sterotypes fair... not usually. I tend to judge each person on the merits of their behaviors.. one can assume a person's motivation/intent all you want... but in the end... it is the actions we do or not do that one can only be judged upon.

So, I am not going to be politically correct in my phrases... if you percieved sub boys as negative ... good... becuase it was intended as such.... but I know many sub men/males that I have the utmost respect for... many are better than the dom boys I know.

No you are all wrong it is because anytime a man sees a profile that says NO MEN they immedeatly have to message that person whearther they are a dom or a sub

Not sure, same reason i still get emails from sub males offering to serve me....maybe they don't read the profile, maybe the don't understand what they read.

I do know its not limited to males, i also get emails from women as far away as England expressing an interest in me, although my profile says i live in Michigan and have no desire to move or be in an online relationship.

if you find out why, let me know.

Because everyone wants to believe that they are the exception. Same thing woud happen if you said, "No Men older than 40". You'd get a whole bunch of emails explaining to you why you're wrong in making that cut off.

Ehh, the same reason I still get messages from people outside the US, TVs, CDs, Sissybos, Femme's, and Lesbians...

People don't care. They thing that they are the excpetion, and you 'might' be interested in them, even if you already said no.

Delete and Block...and block their new name, and their second after that.

For years i worked as a furniture salesperson. Almost everyone who came into the store told me, "I'm just looking, i don't want anything". Do you think i believed them and left them alone? Hello NO! I would have starved. In my mind i was the worlds greatest salesperson, i would get them interested and they would buy! Guess what? It worked that way more often than not.
It is the same type of thinking that these sub men have....and theres not a damn thing wrong with having "belief".
Tell your Dom friend about the option of setting his mail controls if these e-mails are such an inconvenience. That will eliminate the problem for him.

I get emails from men, women older than mother (dommes usually) and so on.

Annoying, but ignorable
