quote:
ORIGINAL: truesub4u If looking for "real" or "true", would you not want someone to state that they at least thought they were "true" or "real" in their own minds? In order to have someone be true or real to you, should they not be true or real to themselves? Actually, if I was single and actively searching for a dominant, I would not want to read that they thought they were real or true. I would much prefer them to tell me their character strengths, their values and morals, what type of relationship they are looking for, their view on the lifestyle, etc. Telling me that they think they are real or true doesn't really give me any information about them at all. So often, I have watched the behaviors of people who state they are real or true and what they really meant to say was that their way was the "one true way". It is not the case with everyone, but my perceptions have just made me a little cynical of the words real and true. Knight's kyra
