Hippiekinkster -> RE: What's Your Number? (8/10/2008 12:10:29 AM)

Before I even entered my DOB, the number 7 flashed into my mind. Cool. I'm phystik!

If your Life-Path number is SEVEN, depth of thinking and the ability to gain knowledge from most everything will be something you’ve experienced since an early age. SEVEN is considered the ‘spiritual’ number and such qualities as intuition will be prominent.

Those with a SEVEN Life-Path are usually peaceful and affectionate. You may not have many friends as a SEVEN, but the ones you do have will be for life. You’re a compassionate and caring friend. As a SEVEN, you will likely be able to sense deception from others quickly and you’re not likely to be wrong. A balance between time with others and private time taken to be alone with your thoughts and dreams is essential.

It is common for SEVENS to be seen as aloof due to their selective socializing and required time alone. If the truth be told, many SEVENS feel a sense of insecurity. This may be because much of a SEVENS ‘reality’ is not tangible. You will rely heavily on instincts and intuition. At times this insecurity can lead to pessimism or loneliness. Mood swings are also not uncommon.

SEVEN personalities are generally reserved and analytical in their assessments of truth. As a SEVEN, you will need to find and draw your own conclusions with evidence before accepting other’s notions. Key qualities/words for a SEVEN Life-Path are analysis, understanding, knowledge, awareness, studious and meditating.

The life purpose for a SEVEN is to experience life to the fullest through learning and processing knowledge. Perhaps even more so, a SEVEN needs to learn how to trust in themselves and their deeper feelings about life around them. The development of a sense of security can be a life long challenge with periods of time that are marked with a lack of emotional stability.

The SEVEN that chooses to not get out into the world and to grasp all there is to learn, can become negative and selfish. An attitude that says the world owes them can also happen. To experience life at it’s utmost, a SEVEN must face their fears and insecurities and face whatever comes their way. There is much a SEVEN can give to the world around.

I do tend to agree.. with a few thoughts on my own not mentioned.  I am very very shy to start... but once I get started, I am hell on wheels :-)

Your Life-Path number is probably the most influential numerological aspect to be considered. This number is determined by your birth date and represents who you are at this time. It indicates specific traits that are present and will likely be active and influential throughout your lifetime. It is the overall number that determines much of what will be important to you and how you will handle things as they come.

If your Life-Path number is THREE, your life is likely to be characterized by the undying need for expression. This can take the form in conversation but also in the arts. Typically, the THREE has an above-average ability in some art form. This can encompass painting, interior decorating, crafts, writing, music, drama or all of the above.

Enjoying the company of like minded creative people is likely to be on your top ten list of pleasures. THREE’S are genuinely warm and friendly. They make excellent friends by sharing interesting information and by actively listening. Entertaining in your home comes readily for most THREE’S as you can make everyone feel at home. With such a sunny disposition and openhearted approach, others will naturally seek out your hospitality. Key words for a THREE Life-Path number are expression, verbalization, socialization, the joy of living, the arts and travel.

As a THREE, you’re likely to be an entertainer either formally or within your social circle. You’re one of the effervescent, sparkling people in the world with an eternal optimism. Things will rarely get a THREE down. Setbacks will be just a part of the overall scheme of things and won't keep you from feeling positive. This exuberant demeanor and love of life can take a THREE to great lengths when creative expression is developed.

With this in mind, the THREE’S life purpose is to develop self-expression in a tangible, productive means. It’s important to nail down the artistic outlets that you thrive most in. The best work will be produced when a THREE focuses on their own personal expression and not what the market wants. This isn't always an easy path, yet it will be richly rewarding. Optimism is a powerful tool for the actively expressive THREE.

Because of the THREE’S innate love of fun and living for the moment, challenges can develop. It can be common to lack foresight and this thinking can bring about overspending, unexpected moodiness and productivity. Further, the love of just having fun can lead towards escapism. Scattered focus can create a situation where there’s a lot of activity without results. The THREE is wise to develop set goal plans and to learn solid balance between creative work and social fun.

Mine was a 1 as well... it kind of fits... but like NeedingMore stated the description for a Scorpio fits me to a T. Kind of interesting... I did my brothers birthdate and he was a 1 as well. But when I did my oldest daughters she was a 6. Being a 1 for my brother didn't fit him at all. But the 6 fit my daughter.

[image]http://www.astrocenter.com/us/images/n11.gif[/image]If your Life-Path number is ELEVEN, yours is a Master Vibration number associated with spiritual awareness. Master Vibration people tend to possess an understanding and knowledge beyond others. As an ELEVEN, you are thought of as being on a higher spiritual plane.

ELEVENS tend to be very interesting people with much to offer those around them. They are intuitive, avant-garde, idealistic and cultured – extremely so. They are the visionaries. It’s common to find an ELEVEN looking for understanding in life’s mysteries. Their interests will be many. Socially, connections with others are highly developed. ELEVENS bring much to the topic of conversation and are excellent listeners.

An ELEVEN will expect much from themselves and from others. At times this can make them difficult to deal with. It’s common for this Life-Path to have a lot of nervous tension. There can be mood swings and challenges with focus on ambition. At times actions can be impractical, as an ELEVEN is more of a dreamer than a doer. Key words/qualities associated with an ELEVEN Life-Path are higher spiritual plane, intuitive, illumination, idealistic and a dreamer.

The life purpose for an ELEVEN is to utilize innate skills of counseling and guidance. While you may not be a leader, much talent can show through in this area. Finding ways to release nervous energy such as sports and exercise can bring much relief during difficult times.

another 11 here.

MatureDSinNY -> RE: What's Your Number? (8/10/2008 4:28:47 AM)

I was also a NINE
If your Life-Path number is NINE, yours is a philosophical number. In this, you’re likely to hold an elevated position that poses certain responsibilities in the scheme of things. You’re likely to be extremely compassionate and giving up material goods for the common good of all may be something that is a regular occurrence in your life.

NINE personalities tend to be trustworthy and honorable. A NINE harbors no prejudice and feels deeply for those who are less fortunate. You will help out others in any way you possibly can as a NINE as you are driven by the desire to make things better.

With such intensity of emotion, it is common for NINES to find expressive outlets through artistic and literary fields. Engaging in these activities lend strength and balance to the NINE’S emotional well being. Further, social activities are also extremely important. NINES tend to be well liked and have many friends. Taking time out for laughter is essential for those that throw themselves into the realm of misfortune in a helping capacity. Key words/qualities associated with a NINE Life-Path are humanitarian, giving nature, selflessness, obligations and creative expression.

The life purpose for a NINE is to learn compassion, generosity and a humanitarian attitude. This isn’t always easy as it can require sacrifice and putting others first. Many NINES struggle with the responsibility that comes with this Life-Path, as there can be difficulty in believing that giving can be satisfying on a grand scale.

It is not uncommon for a NINE to find themselves being used or let down by others. Their tremendous generosity can be misused and abused often. A tempering of knowledge and common sense with heart-felt desire to support may help prevent some of this from occurring. Creative expression can alleviate pain felt from such times.

As difficult as it will be at times for the NINE, fulfillment in life cannot possibly occur without acceptance of a true and humanitarian nature within. Developing and maintaining personal support systems is essential.

I'm a 4.

The life purpose for a FOUR is often to learn how to take orders and to carry them out with the same dedication they would if the direction came from themselves. Head strong and set in their ways, FOURS can have difficulty if they don’t agree with superiors.

It is the overall number that determines much of what will be important to you and how you will handle things as they come.

If your Life-Path number is FOUR, it’s good to recognize that it’s strongly connected to the element of Earth from which it gains its strength and profound sense of reality. FOUR’S can be seen as the cornerstones of our society with their innate sense of dedication, hardworking ethics and standards of excellence.

Those with a FOUR Life-Path are generally the most trustworthy, practical and down-to-earth people there are. Organization and planning will come easily. Once a FOUR sets their mind to something, hell will freeze over before they leave it unfinished. Key qualities for a FOUR Life-Path number are order, service, steady growth, a foundation and struggle against limits.

It is common for others to misunderstand a FOUR – especially when it comes to your tenacity. A FOUR can have the kind of willpower that is limitless. At times, you can appear obsessive and unyielding – even when you’re wrong. While a FOUR makes an excellent business partner, friendships are another story. These will likely be limited, however, once formed you will be a loyal and dedicated friend for life. People know they can depend on you once you’ve made a commitment to them in both your work and personal life.

FOURS will thrive in environments where patience and perseverance are key. It can be important though, to keep the bigger picture in mind. Missed opportunities may occur if you’re too focused on the details of something.

The life purpose for a FOUR is often to learn how to take orders and to carry them out with the same dedication they would if the direction came from themselves. Head strong and set in their ways, FOURS can have difficulty if they don’t agree with superiors.

Because of the FOUR’S dogmatic approach to most everything, challenges can develop. Emotional repression, misunderstanding with others, intolerance for superficial people and a lack of tact can all create trouble for the FOUR. A healthy balance between work and play may go a long ways to alleviating such situations.

corsetgirl -> RE: What's Your Number? (8/11/2008 10:14:36 PM)

I am a 1.  I disagree with some portions of it especially having a sense of superiority because some days, I don't feel superior at all.

subveritas -> RE: What's Your Number? (8/11/2008 10:33:30 PM)

Well I am an 8 guess I am the odd one out as usual. Mine seems to be fairly true. though I think I am not quite as obsessive as it wants to make me sound. But I do have a hard time balancing my work and relationships. Though I am not obsessed with money, just my retirement. Something that I think more people should think about. Crap *shoves her soap box back into the corner* sorry

If your Life-Path number is EIGHT, the pursuit of money and status will be the most prominent for you. Those with a Life-Path number of EIGHT are often the most powerful, confident and materially successful people there are.

EIGHT personalities tend to be independent, competitive, practical and forceful when it’s necessary. Managing business, yourself and your environment will all come fairly easy. With an EIGHT Life-Path you are endowed with tremendous potential for conceiving far reaching ideas and further, with the tenacity to follow through on them. Key qualities/words for an EIGHT Life-Path are practical endeavors, status orientated, power seeking and high material goals.

It is common for EIGHTS to find they have little or no time for dreams and visions. They are more likely to be concerned with the down to earth affairs that are going on. This can add strain to relationships if others aren’t aware or accepting of your nature. An EIGHT can also become so preoccupied with the making of money that the family, the home and their own peace of mind becomes neglected. Taking appropriate time to allow for all things that are important can be a challenge but is also vital to the happiness of an EIGHT.

The life purpose for an EIGHT is to acquire money and to learn the power that comes with proper manipulation. It was once thought that the number EIGHT was one of ‘bad luck’. This is hardly the case. Luck has nothing to do with it for an EIGHT. Ingenuity, balance and hard work bring rewards.

It’s important for all EIGHTS to refrain from obsessive pursuits or from neglect of life’s other pleasures. It can be a challenge to find the right balance between ambition and relationships. However, careful planning and determination can keep life in harmony.

lighthearted -> RE: What's Your Number? (8/12/2008 7:58:36 AM)

Five.  I thought a lot of it was very close to home.  I bolded what struck me as a tad coincidental [:)]

If your Life-Path number is FIVE, a love of sensation and adventure will likely be prominent for you. FIVE’S are very social and enjoy fun-loving light-hearted company as opposed to serious philosophical conversation. The average FIVE is not too worried about tomorrow but is generally happy go lucky. However, while laughter may be the drug of choice, many FIVE’S spend time searching for the answers to life’s questions.

Those with a FIVE Life-Path are usually very versatile and progressive. Freedom and independence are of the utmost importance. As a FIVE, you will want to go about life completely unrestrained and will abhor routine. Your need for stimuli and adventure won’t tolerate repetitive and ‘boring’ work. Key qualities for a FIVE Life-Path number are social, expansiveness, visionary, adventure, the constructive use of freedom.

It is common for FIVE’S to be multi-talented. However, it is just as common for there to be confusion over your direction and ambition. There may be a need for some strict planning on the FIVE’S part to allow for the expression of themselves. You’ll have no trouble motivating others as an excellent communicator, however meeting deadlines will not be a strong suit for you as a FIVE. This would be too restraining.

A mental or physical manifestation of adventure is inevitable for a FIVE. The prospect of exploration and boldly going where no one has gone before will thrill you and resisting will be almost impossible. Scheduling adventures such as travel and rock climbing trips may be just the solution to striking balance for a FIVE when it comes to the humdrum of day to day life and routine.

The life purpose for a FIVE is to experience as much as life has to give. Living life to the fullest and with as much sensation you can discover may be all that you need to do – with a few exceptions.

It can be challenging for some FIVE’S to take responsibility for finances and the home. Work must be stimulating to produce results. If you become too self-focused, indulgence and a seemingly apathetic attitude towards others may emerge. Becoming self-serving and undependable can also occur. Balance is the key for a FIVE. Planning adventures for the soul while keeping responsibilities in mind will bring the most contentment.
