I have been working on a set of BDSM humor pieces, and realize that it is usually the Dom that is the butt of the humor. I thought about it, and realized that the person perceived with the more power is always the funnier target, so life is as it should be.

I will post my 2 sets of jokes shortly

BDSM Definitions

Vanilla man: Your average guy. Likes head, asks for it frequently. Will beg and plead for it, will willing do inconvenient, even humiliating things for it.

Dominant Man: Your average guy with a bigger sense of entitlement. Demands head frequently.

Switch Man. Your average guy. Alternates between demanding head and begging for it.

Submissive Woman: A woman who likes to give head. Likes it even more if it is demanded.

Slave Woman: A woman who likes to give head. Likes it even more if it is demanded.

Submissive Man: A man who likes to give head/go down. Likes it even more if it is demanded. Likes receiving head, will beg and plead for it, will willingly do inconvenient, even humiliating things for it.

Slave Man: A man who likes to give head/go down. Likes it even more if it is demanded. Likes receiving head, will beg and plead for it, will willingly do inconvenient, even humiliating things for it.

Daddy Dom: Demands head in a loving way.

Disciplinarian Dom: Spanks you before and after demanding head

Sadistic Dom: Whips you before and after demanding head. Makes you wear nipple and labia clamps while giving head.

Dom's who like teaching and mentoring: Dom's who take great pains to train you in giving head.

Dom's with high standards: Dom's who like to train you to give head in a very particular way.

To quote Robert Heinlein:

"We laugh because it hurts too much to cry."

The greater the fall, the more it hurts.  Making fun of a sub is simply not that funny because the sub does not have that far to fall.

Now, if we are talking about a SAM, then you could make fun of the sub.

I think it's a matter of perspective on who is easier to make fun of.  We all have our buttons that can be pushed...  besides, if we can't laugh at our own stupidity, what fun is there in laughing at someone elses?  I do have to agree with Poen... a bit repetitive....

Common misconception, a submissive is not beneath every dominant; a submissive is beneath their own dominant and none other.  Also, being beneath their dominant is done by choice and often as an expression of great strength.

I'm kind of sick of the idea that a submissive is less than a dominant, in an ideal relationship the submissive is the equal and opposite of their dominant; in no way "less than".  For if a submissive were less than their dominant, then that dominant would be diminished by their submissive; who exactly is looking for that?

Dear Chylde,

Yes.. I much prefer talking to Dom's who regard their submissive/slave as thier counterpart in an equal relationship. Their attitude seems so much more grounded and 'real'.

It's noice to just have a kinky bitch who gets off on what I have to dish out-without giving me a lot of lip over it. ;)

I agree with what has been posted.
Having said that:
In my experience there are more quality subs than quality doms (eg once you discount the obvious posers & assholes). Market forces dictate that whichever item is in shorter supply has greater value due to demand.
Also, I've never heard of "dom frenzy".
Also, I have yet to meet a sub who knows how to tie the most basic chest harness.
What I'm trying to say is that there is an obvious inequality and we should be thankful the differences are complementary. Otherwise it might be like rabbits and wolves (uh oh) or turtles & birds (couldn't care less about each other).

Hmm I have seen a Dom/Sadist in Dom Frenzy if you mean the equivalent to Sub Frenzy, where you just have to have the sweet pain/dominance that keeps you sane. If that is what you are talking about I sent a Dom/Sadist back out into the night after he and his sub delivered a wardrobe they were giving me to my house when I was in deep need of pain. He was halfway home when it dawned on him why he was bouncing off the walls with the need to deliver excruciating pain and turned his ca around to pick me up. Something in my need and hunger triggered his own to the stage his sub would not have been able to handle..a blood lust if you will and sent him into Dom frenzy.

As for no sub being able to tie a basic chest harness... you definately need to get out and meet more subs. I know more than a few that can not only do that but also hogtie someone, macrame a whip and do shibari ties as well. A lot of subs, male and female were either boy or girl scouts, raised horses, dogs or siblings and learned how to do for themselves what they couldn't find a partner to do for them until they found out there was a BDSM community out here.

Poenkitten ( who can change a diaper, build a computer, also kill and dress a chicken, tan leather and crafts some interesting whips)

interesting comments, especially Poenkitten experience with triggering Dom Frenzy in a Sadist.
