Daddy has been Sir, Master, BadSanta, and the occasional "evil motherfucking bastard!!".  *ahem*  depending on what he was doing at the time, of course.  (and he cracked up when i called him that last one.  [:D] )

kitten, whose Engineer is mostly beloved...with the occasional "Sir" thrown in when he has to get all domly-butt on me.

Depends on the situation.  In public here in the states, i call him "Gebieter" or "Herr", running into someone who speaks German would be few and far between here.  Over there, "Master" or even "Gebieter" again depending on the country.  German translation for "Gebieter" is "ruler" on one site, another and what i was told "Master"

Then there is the "Dr. Mr. Master type Person" that i use when bored and just want something new to toss into the mix.

I call Him by His first name when we are out and about doing the standard stuff, but I also call Him all sorts of pet names, too.  (I have pet names for everyone, btw.)  I call Him Daddy a lot, whether in private or publicly, just being mushy or whatever.  When I'm feeling esp. submissive and in a really saucy headspace, I call Him Master, lots of times during the throes of passion or in a scene.  One time I found myself getting mixed up in my pet names for Him (Baby, Sweetie, Honey, Boo) and those of the Things, and I yelled across the parking lot, "Hi, Doodlebug!"  *sigh*

Can I just tell you that most big, black men don't fit in the "Doodlebug" catagory?  [&:]   [:D]

Mostly.... I call him Stu.  Of course, I'll also call him Hon, Babe, Love, or Lover depending on the moment.  Then there are the direct requests/commands which get a quick "yes Sir" in response (which surprised us both the first time it popped out).  Then of course there are the less than complimentary things that occasionally pop into the mind when feeling particularly frustrated... those don't stick around long and certainly are not voiced aloud for fear of the consequences...

I've never felt comfortable calling anyone master, sir, etc.  I usually called them by their first name and that always seemed to work.  Lately, I've been calling him Mr.***** and it seems to fit his personality and he hasn't told me not to.  For some reason, something as small as changing from a first name to Mr. ***** puts me into a different mindset with him.  I never expected that.  It's really pretty silly when I think about it now.

OMG, softness!

Well, I agree with most people in that in really depends on your relationship.  I typically refer to my Owner as "my Owner" when talking about Him with other people.  I call him Sir on occassion when answering a question, as in "Yes, Sir" or "Thank you, Sir."  "Daddy" is reserved when I feel especially playful.  Calling Him "Master" is rare, because we are in a more balanced "boyfriend/girlfriend" type relationship.  "Master" is generally used when we are in a scene or and especially thrilling sexual situation.  Most often, because I am southern, I call Him "Sug" (short for Sugar), or "Babe."  Like I said before, I think it really depends on the balance that exists in your specific relationship as well as what your Owner directs you to call Him.

Master has always been Master *smiles* When referring to Him while talking with my friends I'll use His first name, but when speaking about Him to those in the lifestyle, I always refer to Him as 'my Owner' or 'Master'. If we're playing, though, and things get really intense and I start having trouble processing, I'll almost always default to 'Sir'. Doesn't mean anything other than that's what came out of my mouth at the moment. He's never mentioned having a problem with it *smiles*

Master is....Well I was very nicely to call him Master as of a few weeks ago, its always been Sir or My Love/er, and as of...3 weeks ago hes asked me to call him Master...which is weird for me in the effect Ive never called anyone that before, see Ive never been in a 24/7 TPE relationship, so...s'like...I am in customer service to so "sir" is almost an auto greeting or answer with me you know? I go all "waitress mode" and kind of znoe out on WHO it is im serveing or dealing with, which is nice during public play...but i digress. Im still haveing trouble saying Master at the fetish shows, its like...I dont know it feels weird rolling off my tounge, the word tastes odd? I dont know, but Im trying. Oh and when Im feeling cheeky? "Yes Mr.DomlyDom......"

Thank you softness, I need a good laugh once a day. "and the horse you rode in on" has a special place in my life.

A Domme friend's name was Laurie.  Her slave's refer to her as ML........as in Mistress Laurie.  In public no one thinks twice at the use of initials but the slaves know the truth.  :)
