I love gags but LadyLove has post nasal drip, which means if she gets hot and there is a mucous avalanche from the back of her nose and into her throat, she feels like she is drowning, so nothing doing there, but other girls, now that's a different ball game...

Hi, Sunnyfey---- I too have tmj. Mine is pretty severe. You can have a small o-ring gag custom made; depending on your opening, it may not accommodate a penis but certainly could a tongue. I have one. It's uncomfortable, but it is what it is. I also own equine bits that would allow you to bite down to rest your jaw. You could kiss around the top or bottom of the bit. Davan

[sm=cheering.gif]I love the idea of spur of the moment bondage, therefore my favorite gag is a bandana that Daddy may have on hand when he decides to TAKE me. There is nothing hotter than being pressed down into the bed with a knee as he ties the bandana around my head, forcing my mouth open and tying it tight. It is great for muffling most sound, it absorbs saliva, and it won't hurt my jaw or teeth like a hard bit or gag would. As an alternative, many times when Daddy mounts me from behind, he will reach up with one or both hands and wrap them around my head and will place two or three fingers from each hand in my mouth. It is fabulous! It forces my mouth open, pulls my head back, and gives him great leverage to pound into me hard. Mmmmm!

DAMN! All this gag talk (oxymoron?) is gettin' me all worked up! I totally love the part in any scene (video or live) where the ball gag goes into the mouth and the stap is fastened. Gets me going every time! BL: If you're not already writting books, you should be! ~Dave

Seems to me a matter of trust. Will your partner remain alert enough during hot screaming monkey sex that if you are in distress he (or she) can release you to remove the gag? If you think about it, it's not all that different from giving a bj. Usually the guy is stronger than me, and there have been a few asswipes who've put their hand on my neck to force my head down when I started to feel I needed air...but I suppose the fear of being bitten is a great leveler. You're not gonna have that during intercourse, and chances are, he's not gonna be looking at your face. Since he can't hear you either, you'd need to feel safe in having a way to convey distress if you began to experience it....and trust that he'd (or she'd) release you. To me gags are not as much another form of bondage as they are a form of breath play...even if just a hint of it. I wouldn't allow anyone I did not fully trust to do it. But just like bondage, it seems like it'd be pretty hot stuff with the right partner. candystripper [sm=pole.gif]

That's actually MUCH more dangerous than using a gag. Panties stuffed into the mouth can slip back into the throat, and then you can have a serious life-or-death situation on your hands. A gag with straps secured behind the head or neck (such as a ball gag, ring gag, bit gag, etc.) will never present that threat. I think most people's fear of gags is emotional. Being handcuffed is more dangerous than being gagged, and yet I know more people with hang-ups about gags than hang-ups about handcuffs. All you need to do is watch the movie Cape Fear to see an example of how you can be seriously harmed if you allow yourself to be handcuffed by the wrong person. I'm surprised I've never seen a gag gift set with several different types of gags sold together since it's such a personal issue as to what works and what doesn't. I don't think a full size book could be writing about gags and gagging but I think it would be a subject worth looking into writing about at length. I've often thought that you could design a good gag that had a pin like a grenade at the back of the head. It could be tight and snug but when you need to get it off quick you just pull out the pin and it falls away. But not in such a way as to damage the gag or even inhibit putting it back on quickly.

i use a bit gag on my slave for any number of things,and have yet had her accidentally choke,,notice i said accidentally-lol.

I had a big problem with TMJ, till surgery helped alot. Still I cannot talk the ball gags and some others. Master had me research gags for TMJ and I found a wonderful leather one. Works great. I will try and find the company. It was not too much either.

I have TMJ, and Master T has gotten me smaller ball gags and smaller ring gags for days that I am having jaw issues. A good gag on "bad" days is a soft leather gag that I got on sub-shop.com...it is leather and has a small soft gag bag to bite on. It opens the mouth just a small bit and if you have issues with breathing, you can open up around the gag a bit.

I've never had trouble breathing while gagged. Well, breathing has been a little more difficult on occasion while wearing a hood with a gag, but that's a different animal. I'd suggest starting off with a whiffle-ball gag (I have no idea if that's the proper name) or a ring gag. Being gagged is one of my favorite things in regards to kink. I hope you enjoy it!
