It was the first day of school today for our area; and as per routine, I always take the youngin to school on the first day…we live fairly close and she walks the rest of the time. So…at 7:20 this morning, we go trudging out to the car; her with her books and me dragging my crutch along behind me ( work related injury ). We get in the car and I notice that my hands are missing the keys; so, with a low grumble I dig the extra house keys out of the car and go back inside to find the car keys. I come outside about 5 minutes later to ask her is she happened to know where I had left them.
She just stares at me like I have lost my flippin mind; which naturally just makes me more upset that I can’t find the fucking keys. So, I go back inside and start tearing up the kitchen, the dining room, the living room and my room. After about 10 minutes, she comes inside and just stands there watching me for a minute or two with a funny expression on her face. She finally says “mama, the keys are in the ignition”
She was still laughing at me when I picked her up this afternoon
Can we say "Boy do I feel stupid"
