Was just curious about what the effect of swallowing urine could have on the body. Understood that urine is sterile, something I heard from somewhere, not sure if thats true, because I believe its mostly water+excess minerals your bod didn't proces. Anyway, interested to others thoughts on this.

Urine is sterile if it's your own... like if you get a gential piercing they tell you to drink lots of water as part of the healing process... but I don't know about someone elses.

If they had kidney stones or something there could be blood in the urine... that's not exactly sanitry. I think it would be a good idea to get someone to get tested for blood born diseases before you swallowed their urine.

Do a quick search of the forums using the search function. There are loads of questions on this topic. Yes, urine is sterile, however, that doesn't mean it's necessarily safe to drink. It washes excess minerals and vitamins out of the body, so there's some stuff in there that you shouldn't be imbibing on a regular basis (but then again, there are couples who do it all the time). I'm sure someone in a different thread has the answers you're looking for.

As long as my former owner/hubby was healthy, no colds, flu, etc (I'm allergic to certain antibiotics) we enjoyed it daily.  I preferred it straight from the source.  And, yes what you eat or drinks effects it.  Pineapples & pineapple juice especially makes it very tasty, IMHO.

Urine is what is removed by your kidneys to filter your blood. You can Google the specifics, but it is a waste product.

Great question, and great advice! I too wondered about urine drinking as it was something my mate was very into.. so off to google i ran.. There are Tons of books on the subject, and a wealth of info out there on the subject. As with anything else, Knowledge is power and safety!! Good luck, May the swortz be with you!.. I will say it is totally safe with the proper precautions. the more clear the better, Remember what goes in comes out! Can even alter the taste with different foods and such.. Artificial sweetners work too!
Much luck!

It's never, ever ,a good idea to drink any bodily fluids from anybody,  no need for all the gory details, just get some cold beer instead, if you really want to suffer, drink it warm.

If the person doesn't have any bacterialor viral diseases, should be fine; urine is sterile.
Gack, tweedydaddy, I have to say, it'd be a real toss up for me between beer and urine.

Urine is sterile to yourself if you are infection free.
If you have a UTI or any urinary infection your pee will no longer be sterile. Containing traces of blood, potassium and other lovely things..

Drinking sterile pee is okay but not something i would recommend on a regular basis.

If your having open sex with your partner and your disease free then I can't see the problem.

They say you are what you eat, therefore the same applies to what you drink. I sense an upsurge in fruit juice sales in the UK.
