Any suggestions on convincing a switch to become more sub than dom?

Nope. You can't force anyone to play a role they aren't comfortable with. If they aren't interested in subbing to you, you probably aren't going to have much success manipulating them.

Consider males. In my experience, the typical male "switch" is a subbie in scant disguise.

the only way to convince someone to feel a certain way is to inspire that feeling within them through your actions, emotions, and connection with that person. It will either happen or not, but it's highly unlikely that you can make it happen

Ask yourself this: is there anything anyone can do to make you love someone whom you detest? Perhaps a bit extreme but feelings and emotions, as stated above, have to be inspired. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a slave on this site who doesn't feel inspired to submit and serve. "Forced" slavery may be a kink for some, but it's the emotions that one conveys and the trust that is earned.

That's just my two cents, but good luck on what you decide to do!

if someone is a switch then they like doing both and take to both roles so why does it matter? You can im sure find a switch who would only be submissive within your dynamic but you cant make them be more anything that what they are

I take it you have a specific person in mind?

You're pretty unlikely to have any luck trying to convince them to change, but if you're thinking of someone who is still discovering parts of their personality, you may luck out. I consider myself a switch now, but a year ago, I would've identified solely as a sub. Sometimes people change. Just don't think that you have the power to change them yourself.

I would say that the only way to do this would be to make the scenes when they sub so mind blowingly good that they will get so much pleasure from them that over time they become more strongly sub and start to move away from being dom.

Which I suppose asks the question as to what you want to get from being dom to that person.
