This is a quick two part survey: What is the "something" that you're Master/Mistress/Dom/Domme does to get your attention when your mind wanders when you should be paying attention... 1. in private? 2. in public?

1: In private, thats different for both boys. Fox: A slap on the ass or a pat of the crotch refocuses him quickly. Angel: A firm grip on the back of his neck and whispering to him that I expect him to focus 2: In public: Fox: a tug on the hand I am holding, or a discrete hand around the throat Angel: a playful swat on the butt or arm I dont have the problem often, but Angel is ADD so he loses focus when we are out and about. Not so much in private, but its something I am used to and can handle quite easily. DV

1. Private; I failed to take out the trash one morning so she shoved my hand down into the garbage disposal and flipped the switch. I had no idea she had unplugged it underneath. What a rush. 2. Public; Didn't quite polish her car to expectation, so she floored it down the freeway, veering toward a pillar as she slammed on the brakes, unlatching my seatbelt with a grin. Great bug on the windshield effect. chia* (the pet)

Well, the last one i was with, until a couple months ago did this mostly in private but sometimes in public but no one else would notice.....If you have ever watched that TV show on the National Geographic channel called "The Dog Whisperer"...Cesar Milan, the star of the show, would make a certain sound to get the dogs attention or correct a bad behavior and he would do that with me to draw my attention to him if it was else where etc....it kind of sounded like "tsst..tsst"....it worked and would make me smile too.[sm=highfive.gif]

In public he will either say my name in a certain tone of voice, or take my hand (squeeze it if he is aready holding it). In private pinch my nipples that gets my attention and makes me focus really quickly. My focus does not wander too often though. Matt's littleone

1. Private : I was told to take out the trash and i told them that it was not my job and they did what they were going to do. they Put me in a another trash bag with the trash and put me out for the trash. 2. Public : My birthday my ex Mistress told me to Polish her Toe Nails and I didn't she took me to the Salon and got her nails done, She had my Nails done with several women watching me get my Nails done with a bright color nail polish

Good evening! In private Daddy will tug on my hair..you know that little piece right next to our temple? Ohh yesss. In public, He will touch my elbow and move my arm. We have not gone much out in public but grocery shopping. I was lingering over the beef jerky.mmmmm Love, Zechriel

Well it depends on the situation, but He pinches me A LOT! Those long, little ouchy, hurty pinches on the underside of your upper arm that leave little bruises. He does that to get my attention or if I say or do something that warrants it in His mind. We're very playful with each other, so if I get playfully contrary with Him sometimes, I end up getting pinched. [:(] And if I get really contrary with Him, I get pinched even harder! [>:] He'll also pull my hair and slapped me on the ass in public........ or give me "the look". And let's not forget the biting. He has bitten me in public before. [:'(] In private, it can be any of the above or a face slap.

Honestly, my mind has never wandered with my Master. The closest thing I can think of is that there are times that He has asked me a question and it has become difficult for me to answer (typically with something that means that I need to expose myself emotionally in a new way) and He will simply say, "You haven't answered my question" in a slightly firm tone of voice.

a glance for minor distractive corrections , a look for more intensive corrections , whispers speak louder than higher volumes and silence is deadly .

In both: He will call me Kitten in a particular tone of voice. If I don't respond (I either think he is joking or can't hear him), he advances to "girl!" which if I don't hear he will snap his fingers. In private, or a BDSM friendly place, he will also wrap a fistful of my hair around his hand and tug firmly if he feels I'm not responding quickly enough.

I respond better to something physical. A hand over my mouth, a grip on the back of my neck etc. What I don't respond well to is him squeezing tightly just above the knee when we're in the car. It's a sensitive spot and he likes to do that knowing I don't like it. He thinks it's funny, I don't.

Well, I usually just gave a stern look. Which she always seemed to know was aimed at her, no matter where I was. As she'd freeze, then look around for me, meet my gaze, and then drop her head and stare at the ground. Sometimes I'd just call out "pet". And she's snap to. In private, if she didn't, it was a hard smack to the ass. Outside, I'd grab her by the elbow, putting pressure on just the right spot to send a jolt up her arm. Fortunately, such occurences were rare. When she needed to be paying attention, she was. If we were just in the mall, and in no particular hurry, I was happy to let my pet wander and look about. Keeping an eye on her the whole time of course. She always kept track of me though, so if she saw me going too far away, she'd quickly run to my side. I would often kiss her when she did. A little reward goes a long way.

In public and in private is the same: clearing his throat, or saying "what do you think you're doing?" in a very quiet voice.

We were sitting at the table talking one day and I needed a pack of smokes. I commented that I needed one... then I crumpled up the old one... then I pushed it towards gyspy and finally I flicked it at her, smacked her in the chest with it and she jumped up and got me one. lmao... She was definately deep into picking daisy's someplace. My public and private persona doesn't change. *Jewel*

I used to do that to the youngins to get their attention...flick something at them lol.
