Greetings..I'm full of questions it seems today. I'm 63 and have always owned a slave close to my age. Is it true that slaves are attracted to younger Masters? Is there an age limit or number that most slaves like to stick with. With me, sex isn't what it's A/all about. Being happy in the lifestyle is. Is an older Master revolting to a slave in her 30s , 40s?

i have always been attracted to older men. my Master is 11 years my senior and i love it (i am no spring chicken myself.) i also personally know of a Dominant that is in His seventies and still very active in the lifestyle, so i know that one does not have to retire the paddle until He wants to. 

Personal tastes vary widely, so chances are good You will find a match.

Age is not a driving issue for me.  If the chemistry is right, why not?  There are plenty of men in their 60s that I have found quite compelling and just as many men in their 30s I want no part of.

I agree. I have always been attracted to older men for some reason. My love is 11 years older than me as well and we have more in common than I would have with many men my own age.

Everyone has their own tastes. I know some who do prefer younger Doms. To each his/her own.

Hmmm, such a question.  I will say that if a man LOOKS like he's old enough to be my father/grandfather, I just can't go there.  I get a squicky feeling.  Just my preference.  But I don't discrimnate up or down the numbers chart.  If you can make me happy, give it your best shot.  Winks

it's interesting indeed, the number of older men that actually know how to appreciate and care for the younger submissives, if forty-something can be considered young.  i got involved with someone that i believed to be sixteen years older than me, only to find out he was twenty-eight years older than me.  hands down the most interesting and virile (all three definitions apply here) of Dom's i have encountered to date.  wowzer!!

i hate to admit it, but had he been honest about his age on his profile, and i am not honestly sure that i would have agreed to meet him.  what a true shame that would have been.  *grinz*  just an amazing and wonderful man and what an honour to know him.

don't worry about the younger men.... i often hear them complaining about how all the girls their age go for the older men.  oh the irony.   to each his or her own, i suppose.

i've never heard there was a set preference for s types liking younger dominants or older specifically.  personally, i like around my age or older.  my dominant is 20 years older than i am and he's the best fit i've ever had.

I'm 42 and always find my preference to be an older Dominant, but I do find 60 to be a bit on the outside of my comfort zone.  I was speaking with a Dom once on the phone and I swear, he sounded just like a grandfather, and I just knew it wouldn't work for me, regardless of other factors.  It does have a lot to do with the person and how old he is in appearance/attitude/stamina, etc.

Definitely not to me, Master is 56 and I am 35. I have always preferred much older men, just how I am. [sm=welcome.gif]  to the boards.

i'm actually considering dating older men specifically because most men in their late 20s/early 30s i've encountered have not yet learned how to demonstrate appreciation for women yet.

but really, it's much more about the attitude a man has about being in a meaningful and loving relationship i find attractive.

I am 36 and my husband is 66.. We have been married for 14 years. I have always been attracted to older men, I do not know why..maybe the solidity and strength they possess, I am not sure.
  My Daddy/Master is 54 and has diabetes,  high blood pressure and ED but gosh I love him. When we first met in person I thought..I cannot do this, he looks like my grandfather, very kind and sweet. But it turned out that he was exactly what I needed. Someone who had patience and love and understanding to handle me. I am not sure I could feel the same way about a younger Dom, I feel as if he would not be as wise or worldly. Too much about the physical and the sex and not enough about the service and the warmth. I  usually limit myself to 10 years older or no more than 10 years younger. Although 10 years younger doesn seem to work long term. I have found that the Doms I have been most smitten with have been right at the edge of my limit at 10 years older. They are usually very vital types that are young fr their age and very captivating and magnetic. Older seems to have a charm and courtliness that seems to be missing in the younger generations. My current Master is 10 years olde and I have never been happier. If i ever was searching again I thinbk I would expand my limits to include a little older than 10 years. But not my fathers age. But up to 60 if they are youthful.

Now this is an interesting thread.......as for myself, age is not a factor at all.  I am 40yrs old, my Daddy/husband is 7 years younger, my Dom is 7 years older, and my boyfriend(who is also very dominant by nature) is 14 years my junior!  Older or younger......when it's right it's VERY right.

Being a person in my 40's...I much prefer older men...and someone in their 60's is definitely NOT revolting to me *smiles*. My last Master was in his 60's and he had such a wealth of knowledge about this lifestyle that only people who have been around a while can experience. Maybe it is because I am older also...but the younger Doms/Masters just don't have that certain level of confidence in what they are doing that can keep me wanting more from them. This is only my opinion...and I am sure that the younger Masters are quite confident also...but the advantage to being older is that I definitely know what I want in a Master *grins*.

My first Master was 28 years older than me (now 78) and he was wonderful... we would still be together but he is the one that found the age difference difficult to handle.

I prefer older... especially after the great experience I had. Men in their 40's feel like boys to me.
