Hi Crappydom/SimplyMichael:

I have to say that I really did not get to know you that well.  However, while checking out the forums, I found that you had shared your feelings with us and have given good advice to those who needed it.  Take care of yourself and I wish you well on your journey of self-discovery.  Some of us have to get to know ourselves better before we can allow others into our lives.

I know this post is late in the day and will not be seen by Michael..however..I will miss his postings as well...He has irritated the hell out of me,made me rethink some ideas, had me laughing and cheering him on, and on a rare occasion I wanted to take a stick to his head..but for the most part I had to respect much of what he said and how much of himself he put out there....as someones sig line states.."I think I will miss you most of all scarecrow"....be well/Tempting

i don't know if this can get passed on the Michael by any here and i know after reading most of the last 8 pages, that i am not the only one who will miss Michael by far. In the past, i have never commented (at least to my recollection) a good bye thread, however Michael is different. i didn't always agree with Michael for a number of reasons, some of which is a difference in "religious" or "spiritual" viewpoints, however when i read your threads Michael, they spoke volumes about the spiritual journey that you are on to become a person better than you currently are, a person freer from the demons that currently haunt you and i applaud that about you. Your comments have been an inspiration to many on more than one occassion and although i didn't know either you or BSB personally i was touched by the relationship between the two of you and the obvious love that you had for one another.

i will miss you and your posts greatly and i hope that you find peace from the demons that still haunt you.

BSB you are one of the classiest women on these forums and i hope that you stay and continue to post. i wish both of you all of the best and hope to continue to hear from you and hopefully Michael again in the future.

You do realize that any cred you had was wiped away with your comments on this thread.  Now maybe you should go hang out in the Gorean forum for a while.  Perhaps they tolerate this stuff better than we do.

I just discovered this thread, and Katy!  You just sort of hit the nail on the head for me with how I'm personally reading and my own reactions to it.

This is bullshit... SimplyMicheal has shown open and honest thoughts, feelings and emotions.  He has shown levels of being human that not too many people would have the courage, guts, or balls to share with other people.  Why?  Because of the shitty ass comments and judgements of other people.

I'm not impressed by some of the backlash posters on this thread.

Thank you so much for assuming that those of us who posted that we will miss Michael are kissing up. i didn't realize this thread was here and have already been missing his posts and didn't realize that he was gone until KoM made a comment in another thread. As for the concept of us kissing up, to what purpose? There is no need for me to kiss up to Michael or anyone else on these forums, and i have always strived to be as honest as i can with everything that i have posted. For some who have posted i am leaving threads before it has been in an apparent effort to try to get others here to "talk" them into staying, i do not think that was Michael's intent at all, given his posting history and the sense that i got from his OP. That is why i stated in my previous post to this thread that i have never posted to a goodbye thread before. Michael has been a very strong, active and influential voice in this forum and hopefully will be again. That is why this thread is different. Like him, hate him, agree with him, disagree with him, his voice will be and already is being missed.

Heh... Michael a drama-whore?  The word "projection" comes to mind.

My own opinion is that Michael has an awful lot of learning to do in some areas and there's an awful lot of things I still want to learn from him in others.  I find him to be a down-to-earth, level headed individual who is got an IQ of about 9000.  But more than anything, I find him to be a man of ruthless introspection, honesty and courage.  He also represents the only BDSM person I know in real life that I respect enough to want to solicit opinions from.  In short, he's a cut above in my book and I'm glad that I get to retain some connection with him despite his (I suspect) temporary absence from collarme.

There, that was my mandatory ass-kissing.  I feel so much better now.

Since a large majority said they didn't always agree, I hardly view it as kissing up.  He had good posts and bad, just as we all do.  He had his own opinions which he was not afraid to voice, which.. apparently is a trait you share.  He was honest in his posts.   And so many people who have espressed their feelings about his pulling away from CM have not been kissing up.  LIKE YOU, they have been honest with their thoughts.
Or is your viewpoint the only valid one?
I have met Michael a couple of times.  He is just like his posts.  Outspoken, engaging, and real.

Are you assuming those who expressed different thoughts than yours were being dishonest and kissing up?  Michael and I didn't even like each other and I'll miss his posts.  How's that for honest?

I want to thank everyone for the rather amazing goodbye.  Some internal work takes longer than others and it was a mindset I had fallen into that turned out to be one of perspective more than reality.

Anyway, check out my new stuff in the artist section.

Good luck! I wish you the best.

I am the way
I am the light
I am the dark inside the night
I hear your hopes
I feel your dreams
and in the night I hear your screams
Don't turn away
Just take my hand
and when you make your final stand
I'll be right there
I'll never leave
and all I ask of you is Believe.

i feel badly that i never posted to this thread. Michael has no idea who, where, or what i am, but He has taught me more than anyone. He has taught me that it's okay to be true to myself and to be human. Thank you for that Michael...i am a lurker here and really only talk when i am moved to do so....you, Michael, have moved me...i miss your posts and your heartfelt thoughts...it is good to see your post this morning. Thanks for being you.

glad i caught that typo
