I have couple of different ones.  Sometimes people take offense sometimes they laugh.

"Johnny take a dive
With your sister in the rain
Let her talk about the things
You can't explain
To touch is to heal
To hurt is to steal
If you want to kiss the sky
Better learn how to kneel...(on your knees boy!)"
-MYSTERIOUS WAYS - U2 - ACHTUNG BABY

and

"These are her mountains and skies and she radiates
And through history's rivers of blood she regenerates
And like tha sun disappears only to reappear
Maria she's eternally here
Her time is near
Never conquered but here"
Rage Against the Machine, "Maria" THE BATTLE OF LOS ANGELES

Sad, I don't remember anyone ever being upset about mine.........

Should I feel hurt? Because I really don't.

I love the whoremoans!

Anyway....yeah, a couple people have made negative comments about it.  But a LOT of people have emailed me on the other side complimenting me.  So, it's all good.

Thadius, I think that is stef's sig line, she also has something about a "clue by four".

LaT, you use humor very well and are a class act.  I don't see you offending people very often.

windchymes, I have no idea why anyone would find yours insulting.  Small minds maybe?

No worries here, for a while I was a bit put out, then I just let it go in one ear and out the other.

Yes, if they have a guilty conscience people tend to think you are talking about them.  It happens more than not.
Problem is..usually when they come to me I've never even seen them post at all.

Nothing you can do to convince the clueless..don't let it worry you.

missturbation, it's by large and by far a joke, not to be taken seriously, Of course it does address a common annoyance, by the use of text speak, but by personal attack, I mean they see you post something on the boards, say a reply in a thread they also answered in and then assume, you must  be addressing the signature line to them, since you posted in a thread they posted in.

People also complained when I had the other one up about bdsm being an individual thing to the individuals who did it, and not every one could tell others how it was to be done lol.

Ohhhhhhhh come on. Your sig line is a dig at people who send these kind of messages. Why deny it?
Nothing wrong with it, but be honest about why it's there.

My signature lines have never garnered much attention because they are pretty much just my whimsical musings.  I have had a few people tell me that they liked the "Let the hair color be a warning" one since a lot of redheads are pretty fiesty, present company included.  And a couple seemed to like my one about the "battle of wits" line because it's just the way I am - if you want to 'throw down' with me, be prepared because I sure will be.
