The State of Florida is far to big and the space between the the West Coast and the East Coast is a heck of a drive, but to meet this lady and get to spend a weekend with her cozzied up in our house made it more than worth it. She is a true bundle of laughter and joy and some interesting responses as well..but ..a lady never kisses and tells, and if BlackPhx does I will let slip a secret or two of his

. Actually , we had a great time and her son who accompanied her is bright as the edge of a knife, energetic and a delight to be around. Most kids surrounded by chatting adults all wekeend would have been a bit whiney and cranky, but he joined in where it was appropriate, dove into the PS2 and DVDs where it wasn't and romped with our 150 lb Akita every moment he could. Kopmodo was of course in heaven as there is nothing he likes better than kids he can lick and wrestle with.

Smokie and Pup joined us for dinner on Sunday..and well lets just say the party broke up around 3 AMish..mostly cause it restarted at 7:30 in the morning. If you ever get a chance to meet up with this special Lady, don't pass it up...She is spectacular.

This weekend could only have been improved on if Greedy had been able to make it.

i agree...there are few as delightful as Gwyn. She is a blast. Glad you guys had fun.

We had a *wonderful* time.. they are both a delight to be around.. OMG her cooking!!!!! ~and mad computer skillz. They were very gracious hosts.. even when BlackPhx had to drive all the way to come and get me.. drive me there.. ( he missed his turn off exit by oh... an hour ~ we are both chatty) and had to drive me all the way back. He was also wonderful enough to rub out about 50 billion knots in my poor achey body. *bless him* for that. Who needs prenatal massage when someone with as talented hands like that are running about? We watched tons of fun movies I had not seen.. ate good food.. met some new friends. *waves to Smokie and pup* and got to talk lots. *happy sigh*
My um had a fantastic time. Thier dogs are total sweethearts.. and we both had fun playing with the big fluff ball.

We all missed Greedy but hopefuly there will be a time when we can all go.

BTW happiness is Poen's pulled pork... just in case ya'll didnt know.

Aw it sounds like you all had a wonderful and happy time. I'm glad (and I admit it, I'm also envious) that you guys got together (and ate pulled pork which is making me hungry just to think about it).

Awww.. well there is a baby shower coming up in prob. Jan/Feb.... so *smiles* Come on down!

*chuckles as she imagines a baby shower at the woodshed or some place like that*

I really missed seeing ya'll at the Ft. Myers gathering.

*snickers* those sound like much better then the classic games I know. Thats for sure.

I so want to get those T shirts I saw at Spensers.. "Rub the belly, draw back a nub" and "I'm not fat, I'm Pregnant" But they are made for "Pregnant Teen" size. It is amazing the pregnant and baby stuff they have there now aimed at the pregnant and under 18 set. *blinks*

It was really cute... but you can tell what demographic they are aiming for.

I do not mind friends asking to rub the tummy.. but folks just comming up and turning me into a big ol Buddah.. um.. no.

I rather like my tummy rubbed it is soothing...

but it is not one of those out in public kinda things ya know.. LOL

NO clue why so many folks think that a pregnant woman is up for a tummy massage from a stranger! Those same people wouldn't fondle you if you weren't preg, right? (or maybe they WOULD!

I am about a 2 or 3 X with these ta-tas I got going on...

*grumbles* I have to find a pump soon.. I am being all leaky. *rolls her eyes*

Since it only saves in the freezer for 3 months looks like I am going to be the local wet nurse again.

Memo to me.. find out from my boss how the hell I pump while at work. The prego that just came back after having her son is bottle feeding. *sighs* So I cant ask her.
