Have you guys heard of this before? I just heard this term for the first time and I think it's SO perfect. For all those people who enjoy using "punishment" as kinky play and not serious behavior correction. No more confusion!

It would still be too confusing to me but I could see for others who like this type of play how it would help to give it a label to what they enjoy.

funishment sounds like what Sir does when he wants to play with me and my mind - and chases me around with a cane, laughing at me when i yelp! And when i ask what i did - he says "nothing - i do it because i can".

Oh yay! I think it's a great idea. I hate punishments, usually means we have both failed. I have spoken with an occasional sub who thought that they were supposed to screw up so that I could have an excuse to punish them...Ummm, no. But Funishment...Hmmm, I like that idea.

I like it. The sort of fun that entails when you tell a sub to go buy the winning lottery ticket. Since it's obviously not going to happen, it's just an excuse to role play.

Heheheh...LOVE THE TERM. That is a great term, i will have to steal it...lol.

i take my role as a slave seriously, but "funishment" is a cute term. A term that i like in the example above, as seen below...it sounds great. i love it when They say because They can...lol. Makes me feel all little...i like that feeling.

love the term, and hope it spreads like wildfire. it'll save a lot of confusion and irritation when folks can be clear they are on the same page. it's always been annoying as heck to me when someone starts a topic about punishment, and i take the time to give a heartfelt serious reply, only to discover that they were really talking about "funishment," for play and mutual enjoyment, not a real suffering of negative consequences for a misdeed.

Funishment Involving Pain???

Hi everyone. I would like to know if this has ever happened to anyone else....The other night while Master was funishing me, he decided that he would crop me very hard if I laughed during the funishment. Is it common for Master's to combine punishment and funishment?

I had much confusion with a film maker once, who wanted to film "punishment" and kept babbling on about how the shoot I did would be "punishment". I kept trying to say, "no, you mean it'll be an impact *play* shoot" but he didn't get it. But then, despite making kink films, he wasn't/isn't kinky.

I like the word, I'm going to read it in to all the misuses of punishment from now on.
