I haven't bought any since the price has been about $3.00 each on the east coast here. When they were 99 cents, I bought them all the time, probably one a week. I"m not too talented about picking the good sweet ones, though. I've heard the end should be a little soft and the smell should be real canteloupey. I can thump a watermelon and pick a great one every time, though.!

I don't know why I thump them because I can never tell what it means. But I do. I don't eat them though. I only buy them for the munchkins. Cataloupe, yuck!
