I found someone on CM with a very limited profile. Normally, I would not go for a limited profile. But it was so similar to my... limited... profile, that I didn't resist it. And so I messaged him. Several messages but only a few days later, I decided to go visit him in person. It is one of the most amazing things I have experienced, and at this point in time, I believe I have found my "one" to last forever. It may be a foolish naive perspective -- I've made those mistakes before and NOT learned from them. But right now I am blessedly happy.
I also learned in an interesting way about his history here and with DiurnalVampire, she called him her Angel and the "Another wonderful Goodbye" thread was about this as well. We spent a wonderful evening with DV and Fox on Labor Day and I feel like I have some of the best friends... and I've known them such a short time.
Hopefully these are friendships that last and not that move on.
