We have a giant trash can at the foot of our bed, and we throw food wrappers an sacks in there as well as bedroom trash and suddenly eaten and chewed up  stuff that WAS  in the trash can  has been showing up all over an I was like what the hell, an then we realized Sparky was probably hopping on the bed an then just leaning his head over the edge of the trash an selecting whatever he wanted. With mommy and daddy, not really realizing it. You can be sure that little opps will be fixed right away. Much to Sparky's disapointment..

How much trash can possibly be generated in a bedroom?

Aside from when I am sick with a cold, I cannot think of anytime I needed to throw something away in there. Okay, I get that a hetro couple might have condoms and wrappers, but damn, can't they go into the bathroom trash can or, in a nice cute lil.........oh hell I am so out of my league on this.

Garbage in the bedroom just gives me the heebie jeebies.

My dog enjoys bringing thongs & other assorted undergarments to guests.  I have to keep my hamper in the closet when I'm expecting company.  *sighs*

Just seconding this comment.  My small bin in my bedroom has paper but that would be it, everything else goes in the outside rubbish bin.  I would be too icked out by the thought of the creepy crawly things that would be attracted to it let alone the dog.

Could you maybe throw all food scraps into a kitchen bin if you have one?

probably if you used the kitchen can for all food related trash the dog would stay out of the one in the bedroom.

With my allergies being what they are, I generate dirty tissues in the bedroom.

I do dogsit a friend's dog, great dog except he steals panties and bras and hides them; under the bed, behind the couch, etc.

We don't live in the kitchen we live in the garage that we turned into one in a half bedroom apartment lol.

And for people that really ask how much trash can two people generate, well if they're messy people they can generate a lot lol* and we are messy people*. Now most of it's paper trash, the mail that comes in and magaziens, and crystal light boxes and drink mix packets and sweet and low wrappers( I drink tons of drink mixes* and other stuff that just accumulates and stuff, But we do live in here and do everything else in here, so you have household type trash too. Yeah we could go throw it outside the moment we're done with it, but we're creatures of convienence, It's far more convenient to fill up our private  garbage pail, then monday take  our house garbage can to the big garbage can the city provides, then dump it in there when the trash person comes to pick up the can.

It also allows other people who need the garbage container outside and in the kitchen * which is often full too from my parents using it for their kitchen garbage, t o have space too. We're not the only ones to consider here, We share space with two other people.

I think it's kind of funny the dog was using our oversite for his gain, and wanted to share my amusement, but I will be fixing that since eating the wrappers can make him very sick.

Hey, you're lucky it's just clothes. The family cat we used to have was a jewelry thief! A bracelet of my Mom's went missing and she had her suspicisions of who it was until she caught the cat hot footing it out of her bedroom one day with another piece of jewelry in his mouth. Incredible. *L*

Just watch the cheese!!    -   old cheese can grow an organism that can paralyse a dog - as i know to my pocket books dismay!   several hundred dollars in vet bills later, and i have a goofy dog that will still eat moldy cheese if given the opportunity.

Just count yourself lucky you don't have a million different bins for different types of rubbish and the government uses anti terrorism laws to spy on you making sure you put the right item in each rubbish bin or they take you to court.

Obviously the picture I paint is a rather bleak one and this would only happen in a police state right?

WEll the county does give you 3 diffrent bins, greenwaste recycling and trash, and you really are supposed to seperate your trash, trash in one recyclables in the other, but it's not like if you don't you'll go to court. Least not that I've ever heard. I wouldn't know anything about police states and what police states do though.

A police state is where the government polices the people and controls them where as it should be the other way around.
