not that new to the site, but decided i'd make my first post to the forum (that was right up until I noticed i'd already made a post...I dont remember it, but supposedly I did, lol)

Anyways, just thought i'd say a hi to all the New Zealanders that might read these posts...and anyone else for that matter, and if anyone really wants to know anything else about me then you can feel free to ask.

lol, hello over in aussie (im guessing at least) and thanks 4 the reply....have had a chat with a few people in here (have used the profile section for a year or 2, am just new to the forums)...just thought the message boards would be a good place to meet some more people

I'm rather new at all this stuff. Just thought popin and say Hello. Allways thought NewZealand would be a nice place to retire. So what are winters like in NewZealand. Here it's starting to snow and Burrr !!! its geting colder

i believe Di and Hugh are from Australia, so thought i would answer your new zealand question for you....having spent a winter in Montreal i can certainly say that winters over here are a darn site warmer, if you stay in the north island your unlikely to see snow here (except in the mountains) and will normally have temperatures 10 degrees celcius plus, lol....

it is a nice place to live....rather quiet at times, but it depends on what you like, lol
