I didn't want to hijack the other thread, so I thought I'd start a new one.

What are YOUR routines for cleaning & sanitizing your toys?

for dildos, clamps, metal or other plastic toys and other things that arn't porus and can hold up to an extended period in heated water the dishwasher is a wonderful place...just don't let your kids or friends find them in there, they will never eat off another dish washed in there. My friends kid found one of his mothers toys in there, he now keeps his own plate, bowl, knife, fork, spoon, and glass in his own section of the cabinate and wont eat off anything other then the ones he picked out and washes them himself after each use.

greetings ms sonnet ma r wood
the usual :take those boxs of alchohol pads you see in tattoo supply catalogs and shops and see how they sanitize the feild
those pads are everywhere ;used on plastic cpr dummy mouths ;people practice cpr on ,in classes ,and, on rubber dildoes, besides warm soap and water first
then dry .
leather and;vynals you saddle wax all the dirt off first ,then put on shine or preserve but you cant use it inside or on the genitals unless its dry and used on one person
bareback saddles or nude leather undies and harnesses yanked tite in the crotch area:
oils from the genitals with oozing herpes warts is difficult if not impossible to get out, so transfer isnt worth taking someone elses', intimate underware and toys worn in, that condition.
leather whips and belts with blood dried, on it ?you have to ask a top. i would assume the whip or catonine tails or razor-strap belt is mine alone ,not used on any other slaves ,or passed down, without some kinda cleaning
so i dont know what the case is in blood on leather ,or wood materials

Soap and Water, Toy cleaning spray, keeping dry, and using flavored latex condoms if said toy is used for either oral/anal intrusion... That, and buy more toys.[8D]

Leather care I don't have a good grasp on yet, and need to go look up info UtahGoddess gave me in the past. M

Alcochol does not actully kill anything. Bleach kills anything but it is hard on gear adn people. WE use a medical product that can kill anytihng, including hiv and hep a/b.
I'ts not expensive, adn can be used on furniture.
It's nto designed for use on humanoids.
It's call Quanet and a little goes a long way. It also won't irritate teh nose or skin of anyoen who plays on cleaned furniture.
Hope that helps a little bit.

That was uuummmm.....quite a detailed, and interesting reply mr. rug. I'm sure it even entertained a few of us out here. LOL! Thank you. One thing I like to use to clean, disinfect and sanitize my environment and equipment is Dr. Bronner's Castile soaps diluted. There are many good fragrances and even unscented. Most of the organic substances in the soap do a great job of cleaning and disinfecting any surface they touch as there are ingredients that are natural antibacterial, antiviral and antifungals. They smell good, are biodegradeable, and even edible. Makes washing the sub's mouth out even more fun....LOL! Any toys I use on my sub/slaves is either wearing a condom if it's not their personal toy, or gets proper attention to sanitization. Taking care of your pets health and safety should be a high priority. Here's the link to their online store. I have used this soap for a lot of things for a lot of years. It's the best! http://www.drbronner.com And I just want to add that I do not work for the company. LOL Be in peace. Dame D. p.s. try the peppermint for a little cbt fun.....hehe![;)]
