I guess LROD is a bit hard to get if you didn't follow all his postings.
 
Maybe I shouldv'e chosen a different example.
 
But anyway, my complaint is these 'group hug' type threads crowd out all of page one and most of page two; IMO, the forum shouldn't be the exclusive property of some clique who gets off on congratulating itself.
 
There should be a limit to this sort of thing, to permit others to use 'Random Stupidity' when the urge takes them.
 
Don't you guys get how  -- yawn -- boring all this is to someone who doesn't know you and doesn't care?
 
But I give up; it's yours; I'll find somewhere else to steal a smoke than behind the gym.

OP, i feel the same way about all the political threads over in the off topic section, to me they get old after a while.  bitching about it won't do any good.  people can post what they want within TOS.  if i don't like a thread, i don't visit it, it's quite simple.  you can post anything you want here,  in fact there have been times when your threads have taken up most of page 1 and i found it very annoying but i didn't bitch about it, i just didn't participate.   you might do well to do the same.
