We've all seen them. Enjoying a really good TV show, episode or movie, then a scene happens that has you saying `WTF was that`?

For me ...Independance Day ...when Will Smith hacks into the aliens ship, thus saving the day. I enjoyed the movie up till then .....

Few things take me out of a show faster than The Clap.

That's where there is a scene where someone is facing great odds, or has done something good, and there is silence........... until there is one....... slow...... hand clap.

Followed by another.

Then several characters look around at one another.

Then more clapping, faster and faster, until its a fucking crescendo of audience manipulation, roaring in your ears.

Tin Cup. Costner scores a 15 at the Masters or something ridiculous like that. I fast - forwarded the DVD at that point.

I was going to say the same.
This has got to be the most annoying thing I have seen in any movie and the fact that they keep doing it just shows that Hollywood is full of morons.
