Status: offline 		Stephen Harper, Canadian Prime Minister dissolves Parliment
( with battery acid apparantly ) and calls an election for Oct 14.

Thats in ...about 37 Days.

Why does it take America over 2 years to do something we can do in 37 days?

Canada has an elected governent?
 
Christ, can we be any more self-interested that we don't even know the rudiments of our neighbor to the North?
 
Many blessings on the lovely Canadians, who get little thanks for the good they do.

you Canadians are not happy if you dont think that you have an election!  See how you are?

Sureeeeeeeeeeee upstage the US "contest".......     assuming the US even has a change in the power that we are suppose to.

37 days huh.

and you think you have free will.  you dont.  and neither do we.  [sorry]

if voting made a difference it would be illegal.


/ end /   But now seriously.   A word of advice here.

Hold their feet to the fire!     Be a pain in the behind.  Make your views known to the governors....

Silence is a way of approval.

Status: offline 		Contrary to belief pa, most of us Canadians don't look forward to having elections every time we turn around. A large percentage of the population feel that early elections are mainly a blatant waste of our tax money. Granted we may seen blase about this though we do take an active role at election time.

this is why i have a cel phone....NEVER a phone call...unless wrong # or from someone i know.

in halifax when i lived there if you didnt vote you could be fined up to 5K.  is that the same here...i dont think ive ever voted here....in ontario.
