I introduced my late wife to D/s. She described getting her ears pierced every weekend as an adolescent, and playing the "punching game" with her "best friend", until they both felt like they were floating. We discussed masochism and sadism, and did some experimentation. She researched submission, and spent a lot of time as she was a rabid angry feminist...(her description of herself) thinking if she could submit. She decided that she could. We had been together in a vanilla relationship for 3 years at this point. She approached me with a submission contract, it was beautiful. I have it in my safe, one of my most prized memories. She passed away two and a half years ago, writing this reminded me I have that contract still. I was fortunate to have had a wonderful experience introducing my vanilla wife to bdsm. She was my sub until the day she passed away.
When I approached her about this I told her I would love her regardless of what she chose. I let her know we would always remain married and that I needed her to live, and would live without bdsm if need be. Without the experience I had with her I would not be the Dom I am today.
