What's bolded is a point already made in my previous post that was in response to LuckyAlbatross. No one can be sure of his intentions, which is why I prefer to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that he had good intentions. Now as far as the content of his post goes: sure there are some sweeping generalizations and grammatical errors that many posters have practically crucified him for. It almost seemed like mob mentality set in and people just couldn't control themselves. But rather than offer constructive criticism, many (if not most) made personal attacks and statements that would make them guilty of the very thing they were accusing the OP of doing. It seemed very hypocritical. I find that criticism not riddled with ad homimens are far more useful because they don't put the accusee on the defensive but address the issue at point.

So this forum has a defined tenor...and it is not hard to see. You just have to read a bit and it becomes amazingly clear that fools are not suffered lightly. It's a frickin' BDSM forum...this isn't Hello Kitty Island Adventure. The OP should have read the forum first and understood this, and then posted a "Hello" and been a little deferential as he worked to fit himself into the community. It is simple and very common human dynamics understood and practiced by millions worldwide. Sorry this got you upset, but he walked right into it.
