ARG!

My site is downn and I can't link in pictures. Okay, I am doing some really cool stuff. I am learning to cast silver, last week I poured molten silver into a mold I made and it was magical. It was a silver pendent with the initials intertwined in a very meaningful way with a symbol that looked like a rosebud. It would pass for vanilla but anyone into S&M would see the meaning. I guess pain does bring out the artist in people and I am being more creative than I have ever been. My photography class is also amazing. I am making these gorgeous "cock" bottle stoppers but taking pictures of something that is black with a chrome extension would have been impossible for me but the pictures I did look great and the next ones will be amazing.

Good luck on the new endeavors. I recently started studying photography myself. I'm confused and have a head ache over all that shutter speed, aperture, and depth of field stuff .....but what the hell, I'm not giving up. I'd love to see your stuff once your link is up.

I finally figured out how to imbed images, or at least it works in the preview screen. I am really proud of the bottle stoppers as they just look and feel "right" to me, something I am quite proud of. I am having fun pushing my own limits and just letting my creativity loose. I will have these at Folsom Fringe for those attending there and as soon as my website is up, they will be on there. I also have some that look like buttplugs but haven't got a picture of those yet.

Michael that is awsome! Very cool stuff. I would love to see your silver casting. Many years ago, in my former life, I did alot of lost wax cast jewelry, along with carving and scrimshaw. I love that sort of thing.

The silver casting sounds awesome :)

(And I love scrimshaw, too!)

When I was "into" photography, I found that I took better pictures when I just snapped what I liked or what I thought would make a good photograph/picture, rather than fuss with apertures, shutter speed, etc. I mean, to a degree....of course I didn't close the aperture when it was dusky out...but in reasonably good lighting, I found the spontaneous shots to be best.
