No lass Bloody is used alone just as any sware word. It is a mild word and is more accepted than it was when I was a child. It is an adjective not a noun.

An Aussie may indeed say: "C'm 'ere georgious I'm going to bloody well fuck you till you can't stand."

I thought, like the brits, the aussies said shagging...

As for profanity, I loved the line in the movie From The Hip where Judd Nelson ends up defending the word asshole to describe someone in court.
There are times when the cuss word is the only thing that has the right flavour. Only it can capture how you really feel about someone.
I have always thought creative cussing would be a great course ….

i think we could hold a seminar on CM, using the "user-created" chat room function. We'd need a definate time and date, and a Room Name so members could find it.

Maybe we could set up a "PayPal" account and give the proceeds in part to CM..the rest to You, as the speaker.

while I agree there is no need for insults or personal attacks on the message board, the need to censor free speech would be a bit absurd. This is a site for adults only and likewise we can all act like adults and talk as such. To be honest, I just really don't see on here that often any flagrant or overabundant useage of pointless profanity.

Ah, that lovely word "feck". I heard that used when I was in Ireland. After My divorce, the unmentionables were taken to Ireland by their father. I heard about how Uncle So-and-So, got into serious trouble with Aunt What's-her-name, for using such a bad word (quite often!) in front of the youngest (she was 9, think). She just asked her Aunt what it meant? I laughed and laughed when I heard about it.
