One of my girlfriends has them; two in each labia; and one laterlly across the hood of the clit. From what i have gathered, it is generally the hood, not the clit itself, that one has pierced. According to my girlfriend the tat artist was highly professional, and her Master was with her. She says she really experienced no pain at all, not even discomfort, when the piercings were made, and that she was extremely sexually excited as soon as the piercings were in, which was frustrating, since the tat artist told them to refrain from touching/intercourse for a short period to allow the piercings to heal.

Personally, i do not want my clit pierced, but fantasy no. 10,856 is the piercings of the labia in "The Story of O"...hoops holding her Master's monogram that clinked together when she walked. That scene where she gets waxed and the stylist is taken aback by her labia piercings is really hot, IMO.

But please, do not rely on 2nd hand information from me. If this is something you are considering, do the research. Clitorectomies are still performed on young girls in parts of the world to eliminate any possibility of sexual desire or satisfaction. This alone would make me pause long and hard before any piercing to my clit itself.

I used to consider piercing to be a hard limit....did not want to have it done. Master decided differently...and he pierced my inner labia(2). It stung for a moment, not near as bad as when i had my nose pierced. I have not had any trouble with them at all. The clit hood and nipples are next.

Most often it is the clit hood that is pierced rather than the clit and as I have a huge number of genital piercings I have had lots of time to talk to piercers. Often the clit is either the wrong shape or just too small to be able to grip it and pierce it properly also wrongly pierced or using strong clamps can cause damage that effects the sensitivity of the clit after piercing. Luckily I have a very full clit and it is pierced twice, the result is I get fantastic sensations when my clit is played with. My piercer does not use a clap but grips the clit using a similar sucker (just bigger) to those used to pick up and fit contact lens.
I found the process did sting but only for a second as the needle goes through then it was fine can be a bit sore if you bump yourself in the first few days. Cleanliness is vital afterwards and if all aftercare proceedures are followed healing can be quite quick 2/3 weeks comfortably.

I have had my hood periced, usually it is the hood and not the clitors itself that is done due to the fact that constant stimulation to the clitoris cause a decress in sensation over time and eventually you stand losing all feeling in the area. I experianced no pain in the actual pericing part of it, in fact it was highly arousing and it is not uncomman to have an orgasum when it occurs. However, one night, when I had taken my son and nephew skating I took a nasty head over heels fall and the ring became tangled in my clothing causeing it to rip. I had it removed the next day I have NEVER felt a pain like that in my life..........and I had natural childbirth!

Normally as has been said it is normally the hood or labia and not the actual clit for various reasons stated. I did see a picture of a slave once that had a hoop in each labia and a very small lock on the hoops, something about that made me smile.

Well, while I tend to be rather informed in this subject, it seems most have already answered to resolve the most common misconceptions.

It is very rare that anyone actually has their clit pierced, rather than the mount, hood or lips. I would never recommend to anyone to get their actual clit pierced as complications and potential bad side effects if you are not going to the utmost professional and medically trained body artist are too high compared to the potential gain.

If you are looking for a good artist in the area let me know and I'll get you hooked up properly.

Hello There,
THe only advice I know I have not seen here is to only permit someone who's a professional or extremely trained to use needles on your clit or hood.
Due to so many nerves running through there if a needle is inserted incorrectly it can give you nerve damage and make you numb.

I can speak to the long term effects of having your clit hood pierced... I've had mine for over ten years, gave birth, naturally, to my son without removing the barbell or experienceing any complications. It healed quickly, was easy to maintain and I have had zero negative side effects. I am often asked how it feels, if there is any difference to before it was pierced but honestly I don't remember what it was like before. I have always been orgasmic but I think the piercing has made me more so. I hope to be pierced again one day for Master's mark.

Clithood piercings usually heal very quickly, especially compared to other piercings. I would recommend having it done by a professional. Check out their place of business, talk to others who have had piercings by them, observe carefully as to the cleanliness of the place of business, etc.

all i know is my piercing down there never healed for almost a yr cause you keep going to the bathroom and bedroom all the time.... even tho i cleaned it constantly with special stuff and, finally: i was ,just mining(minding;,not minning ;freudian slip there....) my own bussiness;
inside a bed-installation....INSIDE! mind you.... and ,when the vagas people came over ;i lost the diamond in my.........
i even had ,to pick up the entire king-size bed (cause: it was very sentimental :a forever ring-thing ), and had to try and actually shake it out,of my, inside the bed space;
GONE-
completely missing -like god ,or goddess knows,
but no one on earth saw it ,again.

ive had temp peircings in my clithood and labia and had my nipples pierced permanently. i dont find piercings painful. i used saline solution to keep them clean and heal them and never had a problem.

Oh I'm sorry, that is absolutly correct and I should have said so, it is imparitive to go to a hygenic professional and it is always a good idea to, if possiable talk to a few people that have been periced by this person. Not only the chance of nerve damage though that alone is important, ability to place correctly is also, no one wants to have a crooked pericing! And as for cleaning, it is normally suggested to clean it with saline solution but sometime people will tell you hydrogen peroxide, HP also eats away healthy tissue so it is important to cut it 50/50 with water if you do that.

i don't understand why anyone would want to do peircings, i am the only one in my family that doesn't have any tats or peircings, won't ever get them either. to each their own, i guess. i'm not into that kind of pain.

I'm NO expert...I have 2 piercings and neither of them are anywhere near my clit...but heres what I've been told.

When I went to get my latest tattoo I was discussing that piercing with my tattoo artist (who also does piercings) and he told me that they no longer do them at their shop due to a loss of sensitivity many years after the piercing is done. He didn't want to be responsible for anyone living with a numb clit. Terrifying.

While he did say that the risks are less with a HIGHLY qualified piercer with a larger clit he didn't feel it was worth the risk.

I just think anyone interested should talk to a professional first. Or 2. Happy piercing!
