If you watch Abadabba's speeches he uses the words "global" and "world" very freely!
And most of the people in the "U.N." who support him can't wait to get their greedy little paws on our Taxdollars.

I am arguing that they won't have any less withheld under Obama's plan.  If we are to compare the 2 major party candidates plans, then yes there would be more withheld under Obama's plan than that of McCain's.

You have convinced me... Tax cuts are bad.  Out of control spending and tax increases are good for the national budget and the economy.  How could I have been so foolish.

No, I think Obama's tax cuts are great.  Applied where they are needed, not to people making more than a quarter-million dollars a year. 

Where are McCain's tax cuts targeted? 

Of course, when we cut the taxes of the wealthy then they have more to invest, they create more businesses, employ more people, and the benefits trickle down to us poor peons, right?

Eight years of Reagonomics and eight years of Dubyanomics would suggest otherwise.

What happens is the rich become richer, the poor become poorer, and the vast majority of people in the middle stagnate and lose ground to inflation.

Does that go for those of us that don't want to pay higher taxes?  Although by the time he is through, perhaps France will have a cheaper tax rate.  Thanks for the advice.

Don't think moving to France will help. The United States is one of the few countries that taxes their citizens on any income earned in the world, no matter where they live, which I find absolutely stupid. The first ~$88k is exempt though. To get out of paying taxes, one would need to either renounce their citizenship or just "disappear" by not filing tax returns, and don't plan on coming back into the states. Interesting thing is, if you are a millionaire and you decide to renounce your citizenship, if the IRS decides you did it to avoid taxes, they'll still make you pay taxes for a 10 year period.

None of the people on this board will have their tax`s go up.

Anyone who says they will, is lying.

The people`s who`s taxes will go up,are the millionaires who benefited from Bush`s tax cuts.They`ll go back up,when those tax laws expire.

If you`re one of those people(the top 5 % of earners),...tough.

But as Obama rebuilds the economy and the nation`s finances improve,the high income earners will make more on their investments,............once again,..... and that`ll more than make up for the tax increase.

Every non-partisan economic analyst says that 95% of Amereicans will have there taxes go down under Obama.

Now,how do you get that on a bumper-sticker?

I have little faith that the American public won`t get duped again into voting against their own best interests.

But I have a bit of hope.

Little known fact.The Boston tea party wasn`t over a tax increace.

It was over a very unfair tax cut on tea,for British companies,that hammered American merchants.They were the tea partiers.

They revolted against the British for giving exclusive tax cuts(on tea,and other products)to only British companies.

Hmmm,a tax break for a select few.........at the expence of everyone else.

Sounds a lot like the Bush tax plan.

Maybe, we`re having a revolt right now,against the financial traitors who`ve run us into the ditch we`re in.
