For some reason i am feeling disconnected it is like i can no longer feel my Master presence, it is like He has disappeared. i should say that we do not live together, it has never happened before. i am still following all my daily tasks so i am not sure what is going on, has this ever happened to anyone else.[:(]

This is a relationship issue, not a particular Ds issue. Did you really expect to feel that intense connection in exactly the same way every single day and all day? That's pretty realistic. You still feel the commitment you made, you still stand strong with that commitment, that's what matters. The more you beat yourself up over what you happen to be feeling or not feeling, the more energy and time you waste simply being happy with who you are and what you have. Now, if this feeling continues long term and if there is cause for it, that can become a problem. But having an off day? That's nothing.

If this is a new relationship, it might be just you are processing all the raw emotions that occur when you first give yourself to someone. I know I don't live with Master and at times even still six months into it there are times when I feel disconnected from him. They are short lived for the most part. It is especially hard when life happens and we don't get an opporunity to physically be with each other every week. In the last few months, we have gone as long as four weeks without seeing one another and that is very hard on both of us. I wish you the best and you can always write to me on the other side. heather

You don't give a lot of information here... like how long you have been together... how much time you are spending together or if he has been out of contact. Many things could play a part in this. I am of the mind that if I am giving enough time and attention to my submissive, that they are rarely going to feel this way. When they do, it is more a situation where they may be afraid or have some personal issue that needs to be discussed openly. The one thing you really need to do here is talk to your dominant and tell him how you feel. That is the only way through whatever might be happening at any point.

It is just i miss Him and the feeling of His presence. I don't like it, it makes me sad and like i have lost Him. I hope you are right and it will pass[sm=sigh.gif]

I get that feeling every so often, but i know its just insecurity on my part...i keep myself busy and trust in the fact that the feeling will pass.
