Medical professionals should be non-judgmental and if they aren't, I'd urge finding a new one. I got rid of my general practitioner a bit over a year ago because, when she knew I was in a relationship with 2 men and got the wild idea to try birth control pills again and it was working out just as poorly as the first time I'd tried them, I asked for suggestions and she very seriously told me I should consider abstainence. I was not amused. My GYN, onthe other hand, is super-awesome, fabulously cool, and I can, and do, tell her anything and everything and she knows that I research health matters like mad, so we talk with mutual respect and I swear I could tell her I was having sex with herds of goats (I'm not; I think pygmy goats are cool but not in that way, lol!) and she'd say that as long as everyone was consenting, that I should consider protection but to rock on. There's nothing wrong with what we do in our lives, America is just FUBAR about matters sexual. Oh, the glbt community tends to have very open minded practitioners working in centers and, the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom has a listing of Kink Friendly Professionals to which you may wish to avail yourself should you feel the need. Have a great night, all! :> Davan
