I've never sewed pleather, but I've done a fair amount of upholstery with it. Most vinyls are pretty stretchy, so you'll need to factor that in. You'll need a reasonably stout sewing machine (punching holes in it is a bit like chewing through an orange skin), and I think you'll want to use a thick thread, wider stitches to keep them from ripping through. You'll also want to use a fairly light pressure to prevent the machine from stretching it as it feeds. I thought it was pretty manageable, but then, my fit & finish standards are pretty loose, and with the work I do I can make the stretchiness cover my inability to cut a straight line
