I'll take you there, there there baby, yeah. It comes from a great catchy tune with origins from German Opera: The shark has teeth like razors, everyone can see, Macheath has a knife but not in an obvious place.Macheath is a swashbuckler. He is a smooth romantic with qualities of both a gentleman and a highwayman. He is the love of whores. Macheath takes the hand in marriage of Lucy and Polly and in the end "four wives more" claim him. He says "I must have women" since "I love the sex". He speaks the King's English and dresses well, but prefers to live in the faith and company of cutthroats. He is polite to the people he mugs. Its a swinging tune; by Darrin, Sinatra, Satchemo, or Ella, and I enjoy swing dancing, have for many years. I enjoy opera and the Orgins are from “The Threepenny Opera” with all those great names; Macheath, Sookie Tawdry, Jenny Diver, Polly Peachum and Ol Lucy Brown. Et al. Sartoris
