I'm wearing my Ren Fair outfit (the big skirt, the overskirt, the bodice and off-the-shoulder blouse). I'm a big woman.

I'll also be wearing a cheesy blonde wig with long pigtails, a faux Viking helmet with horns, and carrying a Viking shield. And a big button that says, "It ain't over until..."

get it?

i love halloween...

2 years ago went as dorothy and the lion on a leash...

last year i think i was the drunk catwoman

For myself, I'm kinda wimping out this year and going with a costume I already have most of the basic parts for....
Harry Blackstone Dresden from Jim Butcher's Dresden Files.
The advantage of this is the few prop's I have to build very well may end up with built in SFX.
I'm single, so couples costumes are out right now, but in the past the favorite I've done was a Pirate and his Booty (complete with Treasure Chest bra, Jolly Roger g-string and X marks the Spot body make up). If I don't end up performing at the EEB up on stage I may put together a couple of really nice female costumes for friends so they can enter costume contests... I'm thinking Deja Thoris of Barsoom and perhaps a skimpy Valyrkyrie

One year i went as a roll of LifeSavers.  At the time my arms were free but it'd be kind of fun to bind a sub first.  i don't know what kind of outfit the Dominant would wear to keep the theme.

LFAFanatic -> RE: Halloween costume ideas? (10/19/2008 1:20:58 AM)

a ball gag, handcuffs, posture collar, and a thong! Trick Or Treat?

MsStarlett -> RE: Halloween costume ideas? (10/19/2008 9:49:34 AM)

Heard a good one at work this week... not really BDSMish... but fun.

Man in a lab coat carrying a bunch of long stem roses with the blooms cut off and a clip board.  He asks of any person he sees, "Would you buy these?"  and "Why?" or "Why not?"  He jots down the answers.

He's doing Stem Sell Research.

I wish we could figure out something to wear this year. I would like to see Daddy in something grand/elegant, while I play the fawning/doe eyed something. Any ideas, I am drawing a blank?

tsatske -> RE: Halloween costume ideas? (10/20/2008 9:07:12 AM)

The first thing I thought of when you said 'Grand Elegant' was Jean Claude, (I'm a HUGE Hamilton fan), but I don't see Anita Blake as being exactly fawning....

temptressofsouls -> RE: Halloween costume ideas? (10/20/2008 10:31:12 AM)

She could be Gretchen/Gretel...G definately fawned over Jean-Claude!

KrysFyre -> RE: Halloween costume ideas? (10/20/2008 10:36:37 AM)

or any number of other humans....or vampires for that matter! Heck why not a member of the pack?

Lynnxz -> RE: Halloween costume ideas? (10/20/2008 10:43:29 AM)

Could always do the Insane person, and their nurse/keeper.

Had to have a convo with my 'Keeper' at the haunted house- plz do not grab me by the straightjacket  when I'm running full tilt at a customer. I slid and almost took down a wall. The customers thought it was hysterical

KrysFyre -> RE: Halloween costume ideas? (10/20/2008 10:48:03 AM)

April and The Shredder....and now i've gone and gotten the theme song in my head "teenage mutant ninja turtles.....heroes in a half shell - turtle power!"

BLGirl -> RE: Halloween costume ideas? (10/20/2008 2:25:22 PM)

KrysFyre, thanks for the idea! Now I have the tune in my head too, thank a lot! Hahaha!

KrysFyre -> RE: Halloween costume ideas? (10/20/2008 2:38:08 PM)

Sorry! Couldn't help myself!

BLGirl -> RE: Halloween costume ideas? (10/20/2008 2:44:20 PM)

Plus, I see April as more the kick-ass type and can just see me trying to beat Daddy down in those get-ups. Although that would make for an interesting night, we'd never make it out of the house and I wouldn't be able to sit for a week, without hearing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme song. LOL!

tsatske -> RE: Halloween costume ideas? (10/20/2008 3:13:02 PM)

Wow, bunch of Hamilton fans! Heaven :)

Max1000 -> RE: Halloween costume ideas? (10/26/2008 4:04:42 PM)

I didn't get my TG halloween ticket. Which means I won't get to see all the awesome costumes this year..... :(

RainydayNE -> RE: Halloween costume ideas? (10/26/2008 9:34:24 PM)

i'd REALLY love an excuse to wear one of these :D
http://www.stockroom.com/Bunny-Hood-P2936.aspx

it's so cute :) and with one of the bunny tails, no less

LadyConstanze -> RE: Halloween costume ideas? (10/27/2008 1:49:39 PM)

Catwoman or pirate is always a good one for me ;)

Anything that involves leather, boots, possibly a corset can't be bad ;)
