Well, men are being discriminated against in this case, the judge is being illogical to say it isn't but then, the judge appears to be a woman so no surprises there.

I don't see what the problem is: the more women there are in a bar/club/dive that runs something as unclassy as "ladies' night", the higher the ratio fellatio per guy will be [8D].

^^^^ Why is it anti-feminist to seek equality? Here's a question: would this situation, if reversed, be looked at in the same light? If a woman tries to sue to get into some kind of Men's Night Only and is rebuffed by the courts, what kind of reaction would that elicit? I'd take a guess and say that various women's rights groups would be in an uproar over it.

The men aren't excluded from those clubs: they just have to pay to get in. Considering the entertainment they get in them, I'd say they're getting a great deal [8D] . PS: the 'feminist' comment was meant in irony, by the way :-) .

The judge ruled that private clubs can charge as much as they want and dismissed Hollander's claim that a precedent was set in the '60s when two women successfully sued McSorley's damn those must have been great times...i wonder if they were under age??or thought to be....cause i could try that since i get carded still!!!!

Ladies night isn't discriminatory... it's a marketing scheme to get more women into the club/bar. More women means more men, and thus more $$$ for the club.

not everyone is allowed in these clubs....you usually have to go through some long line unless you know someone and are a regular... so the people who dont get in...why are they not sueing the club for discrimination???

Making men pay while women get in for free...it's still a form of dscrimination. Granted, this isn't anything earth shattering, and I'm just arguing about the underlying principle of it. However, isn't discrimination, much like sexual harrassment, decided by the "victim" ?

A little extra about the retard suing the club: He attempted to sue the federal government over the “unconstitutional” Violence Against Women Act He's attempting to sue Columbia University for offering Womens's studies, saying that they are 'spreading prjudice and fostering animosity and distrust toward men with the result of the wholesale violation of men's rights due to ignorance, falsehoods, and malice.' He says "“What I’m trying to do now in my later years is fight everybody who violates my rights ... the Feminazis have infiltrated institutions, and there's been a transfer of rights from guys to girls."

Years ago I and a friend went in to an all female bar in Amsterdam, OK we were a little tipsy, fun tipsy, not aggressive tipsy. We were told that we weren't allowed in. I told them we had come to deliver equality to them. We were turned away and left even though we knew they were breaking the law. A few days later I met one of the women from the bar in another bar around town, our eyes met across a crowded room etc etc. well I didn't get my BJ but we had a laugh and she said it wouldn't be long before the bar (all female bar) would close down because there weren't any men to buy the drinks. I said that since we were in Holland, what was wrong with going Dutch (ie. paying for you own share of the bill)? She said that only really works if there is a man around and you want to shag him, not scare him off by being too expensive. Not sure what this has to do with the OP however but the bar wasn;t open very long.
