ORIGINAL: Wolf1020 Point taken. I never cared for tofu everytime I have it it for some reason brings to mind what it would feel and taste like if I were to eat a sponge lol. As for popcorn I like popping it in a kettle with some salt and extra virgin olive oil. Extra virgin olive is relativly healthy as far as oil goes, tasty too [;)] Awww....common now, give Tofu a chance! I've been a vegetarian for 36 years now and eat a ton of Tofu. Tofu meatless balls, tofu stroganoff, tofu chili, barbequed tofu, tofu milkshakes and on and on and on. You don't need to eat it in its natural, uncooked form. It picks up the flavor of anything that is cooked with it. I agree that, in its raw form, it is rather unpleasant and sponglike. The same is true for tempeh and seitan too. Wouldn't touch either of them uncooked and plain. But in receipes??? That is some delicious stuff. Try on seitan fajitas for size. Super spicy and super nutritious!
