How to shorten a link.

Above the box where you write your post there
are symbols. The second one from the right is
a globe and a link. When you roll your cursor over
it is says (Make A Link)

First you write the text you wish to make into a link.

Then you highlight what you wrote.

Then you click on the globe and link icon (Make A Link)

In the box that opens you place the full link (URL) and click OK

The highlighted text is now a link to the URL you
just typed in the box. You can check it in the preview
window before you post it.

Example: THIS Is now your link.

That just amazes me that something like a diary, survived all the elements thrown at it.
