ORIGINAL: Steponme73 So they can't spell...or put 3 words together in an intelligent sentence. Does that make them less of a Dom or Domme? No, it just means they are stupid. This is going to stir the pot a bit... but oh well... If someone is truely Stupid (uneducatable, or unwilling to become educated given the opportunity to do so) - are they dominant, or simply a lazy bully looking for a convenient victim? A lazy bully looking for a convenient victim, or perhaps simply angry and abusive (read that as being extremely emotionally immature). I tolerate the stupid and uneducable fairly well. It isn't their fault. Ignorance is another matter, and I see two types. Ignorant due to lack of opportunity to become enlightened - perhaps not true as often as in times past as information is available most places these days. Willful ignorance, or being surrounded by multiple sources of information and data and simply refusing to expose oneself to it. I don't tolerate willful ignoance well at all. This reminds me of 2 quotes I have a fondness for: Reason obeys itself; ignorance submits to what is dictated to it. Thomas Paine The ultimate ignorance is the rejection of something you know nothing about and refuse to investigate. Dr. Wayne Dyer Or the one I made up to describe myself one tipsy night around the campfire (I'm a little embarassed at how true it is, and how often): I know I'm not the smartest man in the world, but I repeatedly fail to remember that at the times it would do me the most good.
