When I first started playing, I gave a go at the other side to see how it felt. I figure that bottoming felt so good, it might be that toppping would feel that good too.

No dice. I didn't enjoy the experience much. While I can definatly see some perks, it just isn't in me.

As to what keeps me this way, well, I can't imagine being any other way.

****i AM dominate.....in my everyday life as just me whom i was born. i am TOO dominate. i am an overbearing macho mutha that will drive you nuts! i am demanding, with high expectations of self and if you can't measure up,,,i'd put ya right out the door in the snow bank and not blink.
i should know. i have 3 ex wives to testify to it...and........a v.a. hospital hospital in calif that had to remodel a waiting room....because of me.

and so is the real estate.

i am sharp contradiction.

i consider myself to be a natural submissive, becasue it has always been easly for me to give to authority if i feel what they say is right or logical. but as for waht drives me, it is living each day to fullest, finding out what truely makes me happy. this may sound selfish, but her goes. I have coem over the past few weeks to have a butter understanding of myself, and who i am. However their is a core self to me that includes morals and values that can not be changed. i will live by them for al long as i am alive, for i did not it would be disrespecting myself.

yes, but i don't think i would like it, i know right now their are places in my life were i have to stand up for self and take a dominate role, however when it comes to sexually based things, i am to shy about it to take a dominate role (at least for now).

i am not sure if i am a complete submissive or if my upbringing has made it so i have to keep control of ate least a few aspects of my life, but at least for nwo i feel very submissive and if anything i do belive i will always at least be submisive sexually, but only time can really tell for me.

gotta ask... do you mean *life* or *sexually*?
if it's *life*, sometimes you've got to even when you dont want to.
if you mean sexually? i suppose there's a time or two where I've gone that route, but after a time I find it booring.

It's my orientation, like being bisexual. Sometimes I feel that lusty desire roll over me like a huge blanket that leaves me panting and climbing the walls to do anything- serve, be used, be useful...just let me submit and surrender! And sometimes I could care less. Sometimes it even annoys me.

But it's always who I am.

Sure. But for me I know I have no desire or ability to be a dominant in a relationship over the long term right now.

I certainly do enjoy topping and have elements of anothers life under my authority to a certain extent though.

i am definitely a people pleaser. i'd do anything to make people smile. i tend to focus on others and not myself. i think being somewhat of a perfectionist keeps me the way that i am. Oh and also because Master always says "I have best best wife in the whole world" [:)] i try be be what other wives are not. meaning, i keep the house clean, bake for Master ALL THE TIME, massage Her feet, bring Her all of Her meals on a tray...etc.. i lean 50's housewife. Master always brags about all that i do for Her to others and the guys She works with and they all wish they had a wife that did half of those things. i always blush when i'm told how great i am, but i still feel the need to be better. All of this is what drives me. i love being me. and i don't think i could be any other way.

What keeps me sub? For me, it's the thought of that Dom who is going to take me *there*.

Can you be a sub without a Dom?

I have no desire to "switch" or "dom".

I am dominant with people outside of my relationship. So never wondered I know first hand how it feels.
I am Doug's submissive because he balances me out. I can be myself with him. Where other's really have never gotten that close.
We all need balance in our lives.

what's actually kind of funny is that friends of ours always assumed that i was the dom, my Master was the sub, just based on how we are as a couple in public. he knew from the moment he saw me (literally) that i was a sub who just hadn't found the right Master yet.

some of it also comes from my professional life. i'm an admin, and i've always wanted to be one because i always wanted to be the one supporting others.

personally, i don't really get much pleasure out of being in control... not nearly as much as i get when i submit to him. once in a great while we'll switch, and i do love watching him be the one under my control, but i find it much more thrilling to be the one pleasing him. i get so much pleasure out of letting myself go and giving myself over to my Master that i couldn't imagine our relationship in any other sense.

I agree it's BALANCE for me. I'm the first born, the first grandchild, the responsible one, the leader, the questioner, the dependable one, the answer finder, the key holder, the ring bearer and the forking dictionary. Add protector, and defender to that.

Having someone else to accept domination over me is such a sweet blissful relief in so many ways I can't explain it properly. Being able to watch that power float out of my hands into his balances me. With him I don't have to be strong - strangely enough this strengthens me.

I need to know I keep her happy, I have an internal desire to fulfill her.


I am very dominant, extremely so. I am very organised and like to be in control of my life, well I dont like to be it seems I just am a lot of the time, and it drives me nutz. I am a leader in group situations, I dont know why or how but it is subconsciously lumped on me. Its because of this alpha lifestyle that I need to have a break and be humbled, not humiliated but humbled. So let go and be told what to do so I keep the ears of my soul open.

I have always been domme sexually and I am sooo sick of it!


I have only rescently realised that I desire to be dominated.
I am enjoying exploring.

Years ago I tried topping. It really was just silly and boring and just didn't feel right. But being under my owners foot (literally and metaphorically) just feels like coming home and everything is right with the world.

yes, this slave has been in that excrutiatingly uncomfortable position through previous employment or vanilla relationships and it always rubbed this slave the wrong way, on every level. nothing makes this slave more uncomfortable than to have to "play" dominant. this slave does not feel that she needs to be both in order to have "balance". the balance that this slave enjoys is within our relationship--this slave's complete submission to Master's total dominance.

I agree! I was the Second born and was always in trouble,
even if it wasn't my fault.
I just took the pain and punishment. I was Submissive already
so the pain and punishment was just icing on the cake.[:)]

I pretty much always knew too that i was submissive. It's like having blue eyes....I don't wake up some morning and decide to walk around pretending I have brown eyes.
