The two Xmas cds that I always listen to is the Grand Syberian Orchestra or a mix cd I put together from the Bob Rivers Group. My favorite of coase is the classic "The 12 Pains of Christmas".

I love the Trans Siberian Orchestra... But I think that's already been mentioned.

I also love Carol of the Bells, Little Drummer Boy and Silent Night. Basically, for me Christmas music has to have Christ in it. Probably because I'm Catholic... (I know, whole different issue...)

I know what you mean. I'm not Christian anymore, but I was raised Roman Catholic, so all the stuff they taught us in school is what really makes it seem like Christmas. (And yes, I do still celebrate it. I juggle it with Yule. It just doesn't seem quite like December without it.)

I like Jingle Bells, as performed by those cute singing dogs.

Also, Bob Seger's Sock It To Me, Santa.

My real favorite is The Nutrcracker Suite recording made in the 60s (I think) by the Philadelphia Philharmonic with Eugene Ormandy.

Bob
