Ok I know tickling is a topic beaten to death in these forums I understand that. However if you will permit me to do so, I do have a question that I did not see addressed (miraculously enough) in all the posts I found on this topic. I will say though that for many novices tickling is, or can be, the gateway activity to other forms of BDSM, being a relatively safe torture, if you can even CALL tickling torture, hence the widespread popularity, and the multitude of threads. Ok enough with the prefaces, here is the question: Have any of you Pro Dommes ever had a client who came in wanting a tickle torture session, only to regret thier decision once it was begun? If so did you stop immediately? Also is there any type of "sampler" session you would reccomend to someone who had an interest in BDSM but was unfamiliar w/ all of the different forms of it ie: the more vanilla side of BDSM activities to ease you into the lifestyle? I know, for me, until I came here I thought BDSM was all about injuring and causing suffering and pain to the submissive now I understand its about people exchanging power and more psychological domination rather than a desire to cause harm or be harmed. And that most dommes are not mean women who hate men and want to make them suffer. In fact most seem to be pretty nice, in general. Although one domme did get pissed off at me for saying she seemed nice. It's not much, but it's a start of understanding, for me at least. -RCF

no, most pro doms would probably not refund your money if you choose to end the session early. you pay for the time slot, you booked x amount of time, you paid for x amount of time. If you go out to eat, order food, and when it comes say...... ya know, the food is not bad just not what I had a taste for tonight...... do you expect your money back?

If one could get a refund, they would all be paying with joy, planning the dissatisfaction and collecting their money after they got enough to carry on with. There are ways to end a sesson if you want or need to. Do a search on safe words.

Never had any regrets really, but more so than with any other form of play, "ticklees" tend to really thrash around and struggle. One has to be rather careful with the methods of restraint, if any, because it's very easy for someone to struggle so much as to hurt themselves. Mostly I have seen sore knee, elbow and shoulder joints. I am not terribly ticklish myself, but in the course of professional work, I have allowed myself to be the restrained victim, and I have to say, there is something very pleasant about laughing so hard for so long - it really does get good endorphins flowing. I don't get any such reaction from painful stimulus, so the first time I got tickled, it was quite an eye opener.

Wow Raquelle. I waslooking at your profile. (shudders) Those fingernails of yours are probably devastaingly effective in your tickling sessions. I only hope that when I finally do experience my first BDSM session she is as nice and understanding as you seem to be. It is good that you have to be at the other side of the bondage table as part of your training. It makes sense, as part of our training in the use of mace, we all had to get a "taste test" before we could pass that segment of training. It really gives you a deeper understanding of the other persons perspective. Part of my problem is I love the idea but I honestly don't know if I'm ticklish or not. Although I've hereard it said EVERYONE is ticklish SOMEWHERE on thier body. I don't know if that's true or not but... Also I would think thatbeing bound unable to escape the tickling fingers/implements might add to both the sensitivity and ticklishness of the subject. I could be wrong though. ActuallyI used to manage a resturant and had customer who did just that, had a couple bites then said he changed his mind, we DID in fact refund his money.So... However I guess it was a dumb question regardinga refund although I was thinking more along the lines of the Domme reformattingthe session to something more palatable to the client... if going to a pro and your not sure of what your interests are, I would suggest a interview with said pro dom, just five or ten mins. tell her that you have never tried anything, tell her what you think you might be interested in. Remember that a pro dom is not a prostatute and will in general not have any type of sexual interaction with you. Going to a pro is a easy way to explore your fetish interests, but you need to give her input as they are not mind readers. Read up on fetishes, goggle them find out what they mean so you can explore them. Also tell the pro dom what you don't want, if you don't want pain tell her so, if you don't want to be cross dressed tell her so, again they are not mind readers.

It's easy Lockit, just factor in my parents strictly hands off approach to parenting, no hugging to tickling no touching except to grab, or pull, or hit. Now, subtract siblings(the usual perpetrators of tickling), as I was an only child... All of a sudden it is not so hard to figure out. Come to think of it part of my tickling fascination might be simply a desire to be touched in a non threatening gentle way. After all it's difficult to tickle someone w/o touching them. Heck it might even be therapeutic, tickle therapy sure. I'm sure the APA would consider that therapy.I don't need a Dom just a female psychiatrist that uses alternative therapies. LOL. RCF- I just love being tickled, have ever since I was a small child. The sensations and thrill that goes with being heavily restrained and tormented that way is just too pleasurable to even begin to describe. Definitely talk with your future Domme, find one that is INTO tickling, meaning one that gets as turned on tickling a submissive as much as you want to be tickled. Its funny and wonderfully amazing, sometimes, how people can have such different perceptions of different aspects of play. I personally wouldnt call tickling gentle or nonthreatening, because I know if Im being tickled im going to need to be restrained snuggly and im going to end up wet, in tears, begging for mercy at the top of my lungs, and I may wet my pants. (though i never have, yet.) I find tickling more intense then a lot of play...like spanking, for example/

Temptress- I have to agree that tickle play is very intense, but at the same time for me extremely pleasurable for the fact that it is totally out of my control. I find that the more restrained I am, the more intense the tickling is for me.

Dont get me wrong, I LOVE being tickled...i just wouldnt consider it a "light" scene for me. Usually people are in the middle of doing something else, accidently tickle me, see how insanely ticklish I am, and run with it. It's great for all involved. Tickling is one of the few sensations/scenes that can get me to be loud and very verbal.
