I was merely stating that a great many seem to be ready to have an anurism due to this election.  They do make great zombies after that.

Nah. As we all know, the best way to deal with zombies is to destroy the brain. After that, it's bonfire time.  These plastic caskets (which I think have been designed to have multiple uses... anything from a bathtub, to a septic tank, to a storage container for emergency clothing and blankets, food supply containers, etc.) are good to have around. Suppose something happened that required them... how long would it take to manufacture them from scratch? Can you wait that long?

I wonder if you could make a good boat out of one of them? Or maybe by lashing several together?

I bet they'd make good shelters, propped up on one end... to keep the rain off.

How many gallons of clean water could one of those hold, I wonder?

Coffins are multi-use furniture; coffee tables, guest beds, laundry hampers, handy storage for things you don't want people seeing.
